This is this the first and only game system that ever had the technology in cartridge games that had music that bettered cd music of games. That's a scientific fact.
i can't help it, but i feel the sega mega cd had more impressive sprite scaling effects than this game. but, i must admit the speed is fast and smooth, and the sprites are less blocky than mega cd sprite scaling. but for me, that blockyness that also was on most arcade machines has its charms :-D, well, that's what i think :-)
I think I'm going to pick this up today… there is a shop that has this game, and looks like a pretty solid game. I really enjoy the Jaguar and such shame it receive much hate as it's a very nice console and I enjoy it very much.
@KevinCali24 If the Atari Jag came out while the snes and megadrive were out, it would of killed them in graphics and sound, but I do like fm synth music so i still would of went for the megadrive.
@oldschoolages True the JAg would have benefitted a lot had the whole program systems / games been out a year earlier. The Jag was released late 1993 and it only had several games available in the first several months, which hurt it. the Jag has many fun games though, it gets an unfair bad rap by most. Its a cool system to play and collect for, :^)
Interesting, I think the French track is modeled after Le Mans as well. :^) Probably all of the tracks are modeled after real life tracks. Yep awesome frame rate, and actually the graphics are better than shown in this vid as I recorded in 320X240 and Youtube upscales it to 360X480 which blurs it a bit and takes away some detail. this is a really fun game though! :^)

First track (USA) is Laguna Seca, from the outline anyway. Good frame rate and otherwise decent graphics, looks like an alright game.
