JQ are a small business eid444 and at the moment they're so busy with orders and have had some technical issues. So like GMV said cut them a little slack. Their work and customer service as far as I'm concerned has been faultless and I've had three from them this last year.
I'm regards to converting the Maul, it's easy, you don't need JQ to do this, just order a couple of conversion kits from them and do it yourself.

Im trying to figure out whats the best for dueling and is just as bright. Do they all come with sound or do you have to request and also whats that strange android sound coming from your lightsaber. I just hope If JQs reply they will say they can do me a Darth maul blade thats got the conversions installed as well.
@eid444 This blade is a thick-walled one, but I also have a thin-walled and I think it's brighter and just as tough as long as you don't go around smacking brick walls ;) You have to request sound as that's output via a special sound board, of which there are quite a few available at different prices, the best (and most expensive) being a Plecterlabs Crystal Focus board which is what the saber in this video has in it. The voice coming from the hilt is the sound selection routine.
Are JQsLightsabers deaf or something, because Iv sent them 10 messages and weeks waiting guess what no reply or answer. Man there so lazy as a company, all I want is a already pre/ converted 2 single/ complete master replica Darth Maul double lightsaber that has the sounds like original but just a stronger, brighter, removable blade thats cable of dueling.
@eid444 Send them another message, they've had major problems with their e-mail accounts lately and I had to virtually spam them to get an answer. Susan and Darren wouldn't just ignore you, they probably haven't even seen your e-mails because of the problems.
you designed a very sweet looking saber I have to admit, the colour scheme is wicked! I got my own saber built by JQ, Daren and Susan are fantastic with the communication, feedback, suggestions etc. and I have bought from them before with an obi-wan lightsaber.
some people may think it is too pricey for a hilt, but really you are paying for some quality work right there, any saber I buy from now on will be through them, even if it is just a hilt with an LED :)
Aye, I have nothing but praise for Susan and Daren. They're both spot-on with trying to make my daft ideas a reality :P
Some people think it was stupid of me to spend so much on a prop weapon, but it's a unique piece that's gonna last for years. And I'm a massive Star Wars nerd, so it makes sense to me.
I actually paid just over £500 for it, though the Crystal Focus soundboard/Luxeon driver cost £120 alone.
I will be the first to admit it's a rather costly item, but it's a small price to pay for a unique prop weapon that, when well-looked-after, should last a lifetime.

Mine cost me a cool £500.
You have to use the "Contact Us" button on the site and request prices.
It's mainly because there are so many different customisation options you can do on any saber they sell, and that obviously changes the price.

Hi, whats the measurement of that polished aluminum where the switch is connected to and the LEDs are located? Is that a 1.5 in or 2 in?
