One thing I never got about the TV series version is, why would a garanteed passenger service have to wait for a goods train, they should have had James with coaches

I think post breakfast rebuild should be more close to the Clive Spong Illustrations.

Oh, and nice Edward model too. Though in the books, he didn't have a Belpaire firebox, but at least you've kept Edward's two cab windows.

@arthurfanatic Awdry made Edward out of a LMS 2P and this is what he's trying to portray

One of the reasons I made Edward into this design is because

A. for the reasons stated in the description.

B. Whilst being simple this engine has an elegance about it.

C. I just think it looks wonderful.

I also gave my flat footplate Thomas an overhaul to make him look a bit jinty-ish
