It took awhile for me to warm up to Ozzy solo but I eventually became a fan in late 1980s. Then in 2002 he did that ridiculous reality show & Bob Daisley revealed to world that Ozzy never wrote any lyrics to his songs. Needless to say, Ozzy's status as an icon was diminished forever in my eyes & today his solo career looks like a circus act set to some very good guitar playing. I know that a good song is a good song & it should not matter to anyone who wrote those lyrics but it does to me.

Oh how this song takes me back to some crazy times of my own in highschool and all the fun times shared with my friends. Look at that hair, makeup and fashion style, NOW that is 80's and I freakin miss it! I remember my friends and I teasing our hair using half a bottle of good ol Aqua Net to give us this awesome hair! :-D hahaha There is just nothing like the time of the 80's! Jake had a thin sound but he is also a great guitarist. he had some good riffs. Zak was a monster and with a monster sound. Randy. Jake and Zak were all different times and tones. You can't compare them.Ozzy capitalized on all of them. I like all of them.

Jake wrote the guitar parts with Phil. Interestingly this song is played wit strings that are tuned UP. Low to high the tuning on this song is F#-B-D-G-B-E.

Jake does indeed play with incredible feel and his range and depth is outstanding even today. Jake is an impecable and a true master.

Zakk on the other hand, is cold, and his licks are recycled, especially his pinch harmonics which he does way too much of !!! HIs leads aren't as dynamic and genuine as other more well known and established guitarists, and most of all, most other guitarists can play him off the stage....!!!

I was stationed in Japan when I was in USMC so when have similar background. I know Randy was the best and Jake will admit that. He does think he was a close second and I agree. Randy was a mentor for him so it makes sense he was so good @ a young age. Zakk has ability but never progressed much since no more tears,which, is badass song.

I'm a huge Ozzy fan and have been for 13 years now, seen him live 3 times, I want to say a few things. 1, I have no clue as to what peacemtn is talking about. 2, Jake E. Lee is good at guitar, but in my opinion (and this is just my opinion) he doesn't match up to Rhoads, Iommi, or Wylde. 3, Ozzy stated in a later interview after (the re-issue was deleted from the catalog), he never liked the costume. 4,I honestly have no idea where FuckYou6000's comment comes into play.Stay focoused.
