Both the Broadway and the Westend cast are amazing in different ways. Both completely blew my mind.

I Cant Stand The Idea Of Spring Awakening Leavingg. Yuu Should Make A UK Cast Recording Yurr So Much More Talented And Attractive Than The American Cast!!!

Each cast is different.

Remember the American cast started all of this. Without them there would be no UK cast.

I would love to see a UK recording of SA. But to say they are more talented and attractive is just silly.

everyone is talented to be in this show. and everyone is good looking. each cast is amazing.

none are superior to the other. =)

I don't really agree that you can't say that, though it's kinda mean towards the US cast to say it. What I'd suggest is that American casts are typically great singers and UK casts are more often great actors, and I think this applies here as well; every cast has strengths and weaknesses. Although both casts gave great performances, the emotion portrayed by the UK cast seemed a little truer to me.

I will agree with the different strengths and weaknesses part but still. The show was on broadway for 3 years. Different actors and actresses came in and out with different performances. To say this cast showed more emotion than the other is silly to me. I was at both final shows when it closed. The emotion that poured out of that show was incredible. And I'm sure this cast did the same. Everyone has emotion in this show. Thats what so great about it. Agree to disagree. both casts are great!

I wouldn't go as far as to say that without the American cast, there would be no UK cast. You don't know that. I totally agree with dwood2001, I think the emotions portrayed in London were far better than what I saw on Broadway and I also think they are far better vocalists. (my opinion)

Like I said agree to disagree.

And without the success of the american cast the uk would not have this show. Michael Mayer,Duncan Sheik brought it to broadway. It was their vision. How are you going to tell me they would have brought it to the uk without them? I'm not saying this cast isn't amazing because they totally are. But the bway cast won 8 Tonys. You don't win those for being okay singers and actors ;).

I'm sad the uk cast closed. I would have loved to see them.

As I said, you don't know that Michael Mayer and Duncan Sheik wouldn't have brought it to the UK, as a matter of fact Michael Mayer said that he always wanted it to be performed in London. I did not say that the Broadway cast were "okay" I saw them last year and thought they were amazing, I just think the London cast were incredible!
