  • 1:00 wtf Mark. haha

  • @MargflowerProduction I think he's petting a Dalek baby :P

  • any way to get the doctor who charity for africa music video on line? Collen Baker shocks the audience with his clear renditions and just about eeeevvvverybody is in it!

  • sad to think of the people who are on their who are no longer with us

  • All of my life I have loved this show. Whenever things seem hopeless and I'm depressed I watch some Doctor Who and it ALWAYS makes me feel better!

  • Really sad Ian Marter died the following year. kinda weird to see the previous Doctor Peter Davidson appear, while Tom Baker, the 4th, does not.

  • @Kanuskiz

Well he can be a bit funny about appearing at such things.

  • how they you known what but how

  • Hahaha, Pertwee's and Troughton's doctors always fighting!!! xDDDD

  • all the other incarnations didn't get along with Pertwee, even number 3

  • my favorite was tom baker

  • @blizzardoakenshield yeah he was the best :)

  • Pertwee & Troughton, pretending not to get on again...

  • mega awkward live tv

  • colin backer is a twat

  • Colin baker acted like a twat

  • I just adore how Mark Strickson (is that how you spell it? Sorry :/) is stumbling back and forth with that dalek. It's actually really cute.

  • at 2:12 you can see the door way! it's a fake TARDIS !

  • So that's why Patrick Moore seemed to know the Doctor in "The Eleventh Hour": he'd already met four of his prior incarnations!

  • What a lovely crowd. Wish Tom, Lalla, and Louise had been there, but I was happy to see they got Caroline -- Liz Shaw is my favorite Companion after Leela.

Thanks for sharing such a rare piece of film.

  • @RorkesDrft And how wonderful to see Adrienne Hill!

  • DR Who appriciation society are the most boring, up your own arse, strangest of individuals with odd haircuts i have ever come across.

  • wheres david tennant?

  • @TheMarkc This was filmed in 1985, tennant was probably at junior school when these people were on it.

  • @womblediehard Yes, I'm roughly the same age as Dave Tennant and I would have been 11 years old in 1985 and at Junior School but Dave is NOT my favourite time lord by a long chalk. The man who defined the role for me HAS TO BE TOM BAKER, The only one who comes anywhere near is Pertwee but crucially, I never saw him as a child. it was years later (perhaps 1998) that I first saw pertwee as the Doctor so I didn't "grow up with him" as it were.

  • @ricchardo Yeah David Tennant was a real weepy over emotional doctor, which let it down for me, my fav was Tom Baker as well, second was Jon Petwee, Third Christopher Eccleston, Fourth Patrick Troughton, Fifth Peter Davidson, Sixth William Hartnell, Seventh David Tennant, Eight Matt Smith, Ninth Paul Mcgann, Tenth Sylvestor Mcoy, Eleventh Colin Baker.

  • @TheMarkc Probably watching from at home. He was 14 at the time.

  • @LorChan1919 wheres matt baker then or colin forthright the 12th dr, they arent in this vid!! :z

  • @TheMarkc Ah, I see, we're trolling. Good on you, mate - I thought you were a NuWho yuppie. Carry on!

  • @LorChan1919 my whole flats decorated in whobillia, ive got the wallpaper in my bed room out of all the who'si guess keith moon was my fav

  • i would go hide in the tardis, then i would just sort of steal it away XD

  • I WANT THAT COFFEE-BREWER-SIZED DARLEK THAT MAN HAS.

  • God a hundred pound from the doctor who apprication society, what a bunch of tight bastards.

  • @womblediehard bearing in mind this was in the early 1980's and it was from a 1 day event lol

  • @TheJCSM in the 80's everyone had dosh except the apprication society who had a 1000 members and could only manage a ton in dosh.

  • @womblediehard so? not everyone gives to children in need lol

  • @womblediehard It was £1000 if you listen carefully. For 1985 that's not too bad.

  • @womblediehard Lol, it was 1985, 100 pounds was more back then. :D

  • Love the bickering!

  • oh darrn wheres the rest of this ?

  • Its awsome how two incarnations of the doctor didnt get along with one another on the show, although in real life Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee got on very well. And you seem to get a lot of that sort of thing between the actors who played the role, Sylvester Mccoy was friends with Paul Mcgann, and Jon Pertwee and William Hartnell had worked together on something (cant remember what) long before either worked on doctor who.

  • Troughton is my absolute fave! Colin Baker desserves far more credit than what he's been given. He was a great doc!

  • Why was Peter not in costume?

  • @John32070 coz he looked great without ;)

  • the 2nd doctor susan writer 3rd doctor jo grant the brigadeer mike yates compainon sarah jane smith mel harry sulivan 5th doctor tegan adric visor tulorgh peri and 6th doctor

  • When the TARDIS materialised, Wogan dematerialised! Hmmmmm....! :P

  • Wonder why Peter Davison isn't wearing his Doctor outfit unlike the others and Nicola Bryant is so fit!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dyingfly Well of course she's fit

    .

She's still young. You should see her now. Looks like this - O

    .

  • @dyingfly I dont know if its at this time, but i saw footage of Peter Davison donating the coat to put up for auction for children in need.could be why he wasnt wearing it here.

  • I like how they are in character and costume.

  • Nicola Bryant :-)

  • This is AMAZING!! So many awsome people in one group. Jon & Patrick & Peter & Colin, WOW. Let alone all the companions. This must be one of Ian Marter's last appearances before he passed away, *SOB*, he's my favorite male companion, him and The Brig and Jamie, in that order.

  • It's weird seeing Peter Davison without his suit on.

  • this is based on a popular illusion called "where did all the girls go?"

  • The guy with the dalek keeps diddling the eyestalk :-)

  • i really liked colin baker

    he was so unappreciated

  • @ryananderson280195 if onnly theyd let him wear what he wanted to wear.

  • @ryananderson280195 True!Everyone seems to be a colin baker hater!I love all the doctors!& i love colins sense of style!!!

  • @ryananderson280195 Great Actor but his Doctor was badly written. If the 6th Doctor was done as Collin Baker. It would've paid off.

  • @digipeeper which episodes were bad because i have only seen a few of his

  • @ryananderson280195 There are too many episodes that even though he was charismatic. The Story just SUCKED. The Twin Dilemma, Mark of the Rani, Mind Warp, too many to list. His character was just irratating as he was very unlikable as a loud and angry complication of a head ache! Though not popular with fans. His costume is a patchwork quilt. But it would have worked much better if his character was whimsicle and as eccentric as T.Baker, Eccleston and Smiths.

  • @ryananderson280195 Indeed. He was fantastic.

  • @ryananderson280195 - you want to know how Colin Baker got the job as the sixth doctor. well it's all about a little get togther at some party when Colin Baker and John Nathan Turner attended and colin just was a Gent, made people laugh and made things come alive, and JNT really was inspired by his character, and on his way home he said was on the phone to Eric Saywood and he said ' Eric i think i found my new dr'.

  • Troughton and Pertwee are so sadly missed!

  • Wogan is so crap. I can't believe he actually said as he was introducing them: 'the names of Doctor Whos and their helpers..'

    such an unnatural delivery.

  • Oh Pat and Jon! You've left us with broken hearts! They were just completely epic and they're even bickering here! Pure genius! R.I.P Pat and Jon! Plus, i loved Pat just walking out the TARDIS with the party things.....he must've left his recorder in the forcefield of the TARDIS again! :D xxxx

  • Jon Pertwee and Pat Troughton were always building up the animosity....they were close friends oddly enough.

  • The doctors that appeared here were Patrick Troughton, John Pertwee, Peter Davison and Colin Baker?

  • Troughton and Pertwee's bickering is love. <3

  • colin baker is my favourite doctor.

  • i wish i was there but i was not born yet boo hoo

  • love how colin baker got practically no applause lol

  • JON PERTWEE IS THE DOCTOR. R.I.P Mate :)

  • Nice how all the youngsters in the audience cheer when Janet, Matthew and Mark come out of the Tardis. Most of them no doubt had no idea who a lot of the previous older cast members were.

  • Wow! Thats like a Whole year of Dr Who with that money! Funny shit! Great to see them all again tho. The Real Doctors I mean. Not these New Young overactors.

  • well, not everyone can be Tom Baker (p.s. where was he?). New Who with new actors had to relate to a new generation who had grown up on different acting styles. although I agree with you on some of David Tennents episodes. his Doctor was a little too human for my taste.

  • where's tom baker? Did he fall out with everyone on this show?

  • Yeh I think he did. I dunno why tho...

  • Tom Baker is a bit of an eccentric in real life. I believe he just wanted to distance himself from Doctor Who.

  • Where did you find this?!?! This is Awesome!!!

  • Huh, todays technology is different, is when a person went inside the TARDIS, they pause the whole recording and held to the Studio where the inside TARDIS is..

  • nicola bryant has really great hair!! and why didn't peter davison wear his doctor costume? trying to distance himself from the role? his doctor never tried to pick fights with his other selves so it might not have fit in with the conversation.

  • It had previously been auctioned off for charity.

  • I love how Troughton and Pertwee's Doctors never got on, brilliant

  • someone shoot adric!!

  • He he

This is awesome! So much love for Patrick Troughton!

Shows you how much CiN has changed over the years. I hope they do something like this again one day even if Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton can't do it this time. Its much better (and far less embarrasing) than that awful attempt at a multi-Doctor story set in Albert Square!!

  • Well, if the DW Appreciation Society put together a collection from all it's members every year, or charged an extra 2 pounds per member per year to donate to CiN, then maybe they WOULD have a yearly feature like this. I doubt any of the actors alive would say no to participating in a childrens charity event.

  • Well, bigger on the inside I guess XD

  • Uh that's brilliant. Look at all those brilliant beautiful people! Thanks ever so much for posting it. :)

  • Hang on..

    Patrick Moore opening the Tardis?

    Surreal.

  • has their ever been a dr who 'reunion' to match this one?

  • Pat & John 'arguing' now these are comic moments!

  • I liked Pat blowing the party thing with that trademark mischievous grin XD

  • And Colin jumping in with "Will you stop arguing with me?!"

  • It musthave been very cramped in there.

  • pat troughton and jon pertwee are dead

  • did patrick troughton and jon pertwee always did mock arguments when they appeared in public together? That seemed to be a running joke!

  • Their two characters always had a disliking for each other

  • yeah, it's in jon pertwee's second autobio i am the doctor. wogan wasn't in on it and thought it was real lol.

  • I reaaaally don't want to know what Turlough is doing to that dalek....

  • how'd all those people fit in that tiny police box? probably had a door on the opposite side.....

  • oh, how wonderful.

  • She died in 1997, i think it was from cancer

  • Ohh, so sweet...

  • It's sad that a few of them are no longer with us. Indeed Patrick Troughton died 2 years later.

  • where the hell is tom baker why wasn't he here does anyone know?

  • Tom Baker is usually reluctant to appear in these reunions, gatherings, etc....

  • Love the way Colin tries to get Peter involved in the argument with his "Who's that ??"

  • 2:13, Nicola laughing! ^_^

  • wow how many people can fit in one box?

  • is that young terry morgan

  • HAHA!!! John Levene - nearly pissed my pants.

  • was the arguing supposed to happen? I'm guessing it was.

  • I read that the 2nd and 3rd doctors always played up their feud in public appearances, so I assume it was part of their shtick.

  • And I loved how Six joined in: "Will you stop arguing with me?!"

  • never seen that thanks for putting it up, i recall later in interview with jon pertwee he felt awfull for doing the pretend arguing with pat troughton, terry thought it was real, only fans knew that the two did it for the stories and got on in real life

  • What's the deal with Terry Wogan?

... That is Terry Wogan, isn't it?

  • he's one of the presenters for children in need.

  • I like that yellow top Nicola's wearing. Shame she never wore it in an episode.

  • Perhaps thats a great idea for a novel; Doctor Who and Nicola's top.

It might be a bit short though. I could imagine what it might look like

    Page 1:

Peri walked out of the TARDIS wearing a yellow top and blue shorts

    The end.

  • its a shame Tom Baker couldnt appear on this and the 5 doctors as well

  • He was going through his "I am not the Doctor" phase at the time.

  • ok fair enough but he was the doctor of all doctors if you ask me! my most favourite one of all, Tennant being the only other doctor to even come close!

  • everyone except tom baker! lol

  • Wogan named Carole Ann Ford as Maureen O'Brian! Oops...

  • This is a Treasure!!!!! WOW!!!!!

  • Crikey, poor Pat Troughton looks really upset after giving that cheque away (This was only a couple of years before he died, and it was this year that he was in The 2 Doctors)

  • Its so sad that Adrienne Hill, Jon Pertwee, Patrick Troughton, Ian Marter and Michael Craze have all passed away now.

  • is the character who played the brigadiere still alive? in series 4 the doctor made reference to him in the sontaran strategem and the officer in charge of UNIT said it was a shame the brig was stuck over seas some place, i forget where so he must be still alive, in the doctor who universe anyway

  • Yep, he's still alive. He's going to be in Sarah Jane Adventures for an episode or two sometime this coming season.

  • You mean the actor? He just recorded a wonderful audio thing called "Old Soldiers." Well worth a listen.

  • Really? I did'nt know that Adrienne Hil had died! I knew that Jon. P, Ian, Michael Craze and Pat. Troughton had all passed away, but I had no idea Adrienne Hill had died! Wasnt she the woman wh played Katarina? How did she die? (In real life, not in the show, which is fictional)

  • Peri's breasts! :D

  • they are a bit of alright, arent they? :)

  • All of her!

  • Arguing doctors I love it!! John and Patric are my favorites outside of the new show.

  • as ever pertwee and Troghton pretend to argue

just as they often did on screen.

about as famous as pertwee saying 'reverse the polarity of the nutron flow'

more times off tv then on.

  • Apparently this will be an extra on the upcoming Trial Of A Timelord DVD release

  • Sorry forgot to say Nice post :D

  • Why am I not surprised.... I could easily see Sir Patrick Moor as a Doctor Who fan... or as the Doctor....

well, if not the Games Master... (hang on, he was!)

I am privilaged to have been at aschool with the nephew... or great-nephew of Patrick Trhoughton! Hah!

  • Patrick Moore did get to work with a Doctor. He played himself in a radio drama called "Independence Day U.K.," in which Colin Baker played two roles.

  • wasnt there a huge missunderstanding in this - pertwee didnt tell wogan beforehand about the running gag about him and troughton - so it looked like pertwee hated troughton!

  • WOAH, how did they fit so many people in the TARDIS?

  • Bigger on the inside, remember?

  • At 2:12 you can see the tardis is open on the other side and everyone was coming from there and through the tardis

  • Patrick Moore would make a great Doctor!

  • As usual (at the time) Tom Baker was in his "I am Not Spock" phase, but how wonderful to see all the other Doctors-- even if Davison went spoilsport and didn't put his costume back on. And... when the TARDIS appeared... someone else vanished....

  • was this before or after Davison gave his costume away for charity?

  • &100 from the DWAS? Skinflints!

  • HAHAHAHAHA!!! John Levene - nearly pissed my pants.

  • Too funny the way John Levene got stuck in the Tardis door X3

  • He's a goofball, that one! Nice man too; my wife and I are fortunate to have met him several times.

  • Cool!

  • lol indeed.

    he was almost jamed inthere.

  • Why did Terry Wogan mention heart attacks at the end?? Ian Marter and Pat Troughton both died of heart attacks within 18 months of this broadcast!!! Spooky

  • He was talking about the cameraman behind Camera 3, as Wogan was all over the place!

  • @lemmingaid Well that's extremely creepy. :S

  • @lemmingaid They seem to have cut that remark out when they put this on DVD

  • Elizabeth Sladen got poofy hair.

  • A lotta people did the 80's.

  • This cannot be from 1983 because Colin baker didn't take over until 1984! The only thing could be that he may have been announced as the successor by this stage. Good to see Pat Troughton and Jon Pertwee!

  • Thanks cultguy, I think you are correct about it not being 1983. My memory is not as great as it used to be, I believe it is from 1985.

  • It was 1985, couldn't be any later as the exhibition closed that year opposite central pier plus I was in the dalek :-)

  • Not the one Mark Strickson was holding, surely!

  • if it is form 85 then this explains why Davison is not in costume as it had been actuioned off.

  • I was wondering about that... Thanks deadman00 ^_^

  • thanks.

see being geeky is a good thing.

    ;p

  • Indeed it is ^_^

  • Erm....are you sure this is from 1983?
