Religion easily has the best bullshit story of all time. It has convinced people that theres an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do everytime. And he has a list of ten specific things he doesnt want you to do. And if you do any of these, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer, and burn, and scream, for eternity. But he loves you. He loves you. He loves you and he needs money.
Dead-to-the-spirit deluded "God Delusion" author & blithering fool scientist goon Richard Dawkins another "leader" given 2 the profane masses is another useful idiot 4 Jesuit machinations
Jesuitical; pertaining to the Jesuits or their principals; designing; cunning; deceitful; prevaricating
The Jesuit Order completely altered the education system 2 suit their Evo-Hoax Agenda to discredit the Bible
Papal Rome cant have their Counter Reformation 2nd Dark Age DESPOTISM until Bible is destroyed
And what exactly is this social agenda? That everyone becomes a homosexual and heterosexuality dies out? Yes, because if someone fights for their rights they must be trying to push an agenda, how could anyone ever value their own personal freedom? Homosexuals have to martyr themselves because ignorant people like you persecute them for the way they are.
Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need religion, hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important, qualitative differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption.
Homosexual activists, with complete support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims and martyrs; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.

@AegeanKing The amazing thing about god is that too many people persist in believing in his mythical existence despite the total lack of evidence to support it. Otherwise, there is nothing the least bit interesting about him.
@sailcat9 Please stop the nonsense. Atheism is dead. The world has rejected secular humanism, get over it. Since the fall of the militant atheist soviet union in the early 90's, belief in God has risen almost 30% in Russia. Not to mention China which is currently experiencing a boom in Christianity. Besides a few loud mouths and scholars who bash God in books in order to make money, Atheism is on the decline and has been reduced to an irrelevant group of petulant children.
@AegeanKing Another amazing thing is the amount of wishful thinking that people will commit to their deity. Not only is atheism growing world wide, it is growing in the US. The failure of hard core christianity to provide rational answers to an educated public is hastening its demise. Remember, the universe will continue to operate without the blessings or validation of a deity just as it has for the last 13.75 billion years, while god will perish with the last deluded person believing in him.
@sailcat9 LOL you're dreaming!!!! Christianity in China has had a 400% increase since 1940. By 2050 China will be the largest Christian country. Every single reputable poll, including Pew and Gallup, say that over 90% of the world believes in a God or a higher power of some sort. Atheism and secular humanism is an empty philosophy that the world has rejected. People who were forced into atheism in the soviet union are coming back to God in droves. Deal with it.
@AegeanKing Being a christian, you are accustomed to believing lies and shameful fabrications thus ignoring the world around you. Therefore, I am not concerned about your nonsense and will simply point to the fact that christianity in the US is eroding, and sad, ignorant cult followers like you are leading the charge to its ultimate and inevitable demise. Perhaps you should make the change to Islam...it's a faith that may better suit your irrational and immature worldview. Think about it.
@AegeanKing By the way, you may want to review your imaginary poll figures.
From the American Religious Identification Survey: "One of the most widely noted findings from the American Religious Identification Survey (ARIS 2008), which was released in March 2009, was the substantial increase in the No Religion segment of the U.S. population...(they) increased from 8.1% of the U.S. adult population in 1990 to 15% in 2008 and from 14 to 34 million adults."
@sailcat9 First, No religion has ZERO to do whether you believe in a higher power or not. Its a complete non-sequitur to say that people are becoming less religious therefore belief in a higher power is decreasing. The conclusion does not follow from the premise genius. Secondly, you call Christianity a cult because you are completely ignorant of what Christianity has done for civilization. Western law, dipolomatic practices and rules of war are all based on Judeo-Christian culture.
@AegeanKing Christianity espouses vicarious redemption through a human sacrifice and that qualifies as a cult, by any definition. Willfully ignorant people who choose to believe in an imaginary deity, accept the wild assertions of their holy book, and pray to the sign of the human sacrifice are, by extension, cultists. Therefore, you are both ignorant and an adherent to a failed cult. I am sure your friends, if you have any, view you as an object of pity...aside from your fellow cultists, right?
@sailcat9 LOL what? Human sacrifice has nothing to do with the definition of a cult you twat. That's a complete non-sequitur. Secondly, Christianity has been the bedrock of western civilization for thousands of years. If it wasn't for Christian monks and their discipline, you would have no idea who plato and aristotle were. You wouldn't be able to go and buy a copy of the "the republic". I feel sorry for you. People who are obsessed with their own unbelief are sad and pathetic.
@AegeanKing "If it wasn't for Christian monks and their discipline, you would have no idea who plato and aristotle were." The fact is, most complete and unedited versions of the ancient Greek texts came to us, not through the hands of christians, but from islamic sources who did a much better job at preserving them. The monks, on the other hand, were notorious for editing great ancient texts when they conflicted with the beliefs of their cult. If the texts were irredeemable, they were burned.
@sailcat9 Don't be an idiot. Where do you think these Islamic scholars aquired these ancient texts? Through the Byzantine Empire and their monks. The Great Islamic scholar Ibn Khaldun himself said in his famous work "Muqaddimah" that Muslims recieved all of their knowledge of science and philosophy through the Greeks. Meaning, the Greek speaking Byzantine Empire. Its also a historical fact that After the abbasid Calid Al-Ma'mun defeat the Emperor Theophilos in battle, (CONTINUED)
@sailcat9 He requested from the Emperor if he could send scholars to Byzantine Libraries in order to borrow some of the ancient works and the Emperor agreed to this. It was Byzantine Greek speaking Christian monks who kept these ancient works in circulation and the Muslims aquired these works from the Byzantines. In fact, it was Byzantine Christian Scholars who took the ancient classics to Italy in the beginning of the renaissance and set up Greek colleges where they taught the classics.
@sailcat9 Christian monks of the sort you hold up as historians abridged, edited, and burned texts, a point you are conveniently ignoring. Muslim libraries have proved to be less liberal with the translations of ancient texts and are most often the versions that modern scholars prefer to use. Your desperate attempt to use christianity as the bulwark of civilization against the forces of darkness is not only wrong but current events prove that your cult is the enemy of science and culture. Shame.
@sailcat9 Who asked the Emperor?? Al-Ma'mun did. Whats wrong with you? In any case, You are confusing western monks with eastern monks. Byzantine Monks kept pristine documents. That is why the Arabs were able to get a hold of such good material. Please learn something. All muslims libraries that are filled with Greek texts were obtained by Byzantine monks. FACT. Byzantine monks were the only ones fluent enough in Greek to copy ancient texts over and over again. Secular humanism is a failure.
@AegeanKing You enjoy making things up, don't you? It's certainly a good thing your cult has no proscriptions against lying or dishonesty. Science is rooted in christianity and they protected the enlightened West from the forces of darkness? Honestly, if there actually were a god, he would be issuing holy dope slaps on you one right after the other. Fortunately for you, however, your cult's nonsense is as spurious as the lies you are sharing here. It's a good thing, too!
@sailcat9 Btw, science as we know it has its roots in Christianity. Surprise you didn't know that. You are a pathetic loser who is so obsessed with his own unbelief that he takes time out of his day to ridicule people for their beliefs. You're a sad and insecure twat. You don't believe in God? Then move on with your life and stop bothering people with your petulant outcries. Nobody cares about your opinion. Find a hobby.
@AegeanKing Science is rooted in christianity? I bet Archimedes and Euclid would be surprised to hear that, although Galileo and Giordano Bruno might want to argue the point. Tycho Brahe, Johannes Kepler and Edmond Halley were pioneers in describing the orbits of comets and planets. The orderly laws of nature they described contradicted the Church's superstitions and for over a hundred years the Church argued against them. Christianity has savagely resisted the truth for centuries. Why lie?
@AegeanKing Before I leave you to your asinine ravings, I want to point to the fact that the cult called christianity persists in resisting science and persecuting scientists, such as the catholic church which threatened to excommunicate scientists who are involved in embryonic stem cell research. Face it. Science, knowledge, and truth are all enemies to religious cults, including islam, judaism, and your christianity. I only wish you guys considered honesty and integrity to be your friends.
@sailcat9 modern science idiot, not ancient. Christianity persecutes scientists? You live in a dream world. You're anger and vitriol betrays you as a bitter and militant fanatic. Sorry, Faith always wins over secularism. The Russians and Chinese prove it.
@AegeanKing Modern science? You mean like Charles Darwin, Thomas Huxley, William Buckland, Charles Lyell, Louis Agassiz, and Adam Sedgewick? You mean like those modern scientists? The last four were 19th century geologists who found they couldn't reconcile the geological age of the earth with the lies in the bible and they were subsequently branded "infidel," "impugner of the sacred record," and "assailant of the volume of God" by ignorant christians. You mean that modern science, right? Right?
@sailcat9 No idiot. I mean people like Bartholomaeus Pitiscus, John Napier, Francis Bacon, Johannes Kepler, Laurentius Gothus, Renes Descartes, Juan Lobkowitz, John Wallis, Gottfried Leibniz, Isaac Newton, Colin Maclaurin, Stephen Hales, Joseph Priestly, William Turner, Nicholas of Cusa, Carolus Linnaeus etc. What the fuck is your problem? What made you into such aggressive and condescending prick? Everything in the western world has its roots in Christianity. Deal with it douche bag.
@AegeanKing Please explain to me how christianity supported the research performed by the scientists you listed. Christianity historically has attacked science and when it couldn't defeat it, has attempted to ignore it. Your list of great scientists actually works against you. Isaac Newton, for example, kept his atheism a secret to avoid persecution.
Also, it is hard not to be condescending when addressing ignorant people like you. I have no respect for people who are dishonest cultists.
If you were such an "enlightened" intelletuall who doesn't believe in so-called "myths" then why do you take the time and effort to watch these videos and make rude and obnoxious comments? Answer: Because, like most atheists, you are obsessed with your own unbelief and you can't let it go. Why do you bother with something you don't believe in? You are a walking contradiction and your militant hatred towards Christians betrays you as a petty and shallow twat with an axe to grind. Douche...
@AegeanKing Really, cultist? This is a video on atheism and you are squatting here like a giant stinkbug making ignorant comments on god and your cult. Somehow, you have twisted this in your mind to make the fact you have been repeatedly humiliated by your own asinine comments to be my fault. This is typical of christians, however, as you all appear to have an I'm-a-victim-for-christ thing going, while at the same time you are completely unable to accept responsibility for your actions. Shame.
@sailcat9 A victim? hardly. You're an obsessed fanatic who has an axe to grind. The fact that you surf videos on atheism tells me that you are obsessed with the subject of God. You have God derangement syndrome. So obsessed with the non-existence of God that you take time out of your day to watch videos about the non-existence of God. LOL!!!! What a douche!!! Get out of your mothers basement and get a job and stop harassing people you sniveling twat.
@AegeanKing I guess to a cultist any interest in the truth would appear threatening. Your grip on reality must be pretty weak if you are going to believe in an imaginary deity and the rantings of a holy book containing nothing but lies and fabrications, though. In any case, taking you on in a public forum must seem like picking on the handicapped, doesn't it? Why don't you run along and worship your dark, violent demons and leave rational people alone, okay? There, that's a good cultist!
@sailcat9 Sorry idiot, you are the cultist and Dick Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens are your high priests. Your obsession with unbelief is your belief and you are a disciple of the four horsemen of Atheism. You're so lost its actually sad.
@sailcat9 What argument idiot? Did you even put forth an argument? Do you even know the rules of logic and rhetoric? Obviously not you drooling troglodyte. The only thing you have said this entire time is "you're in a cult, God doesnt exist" blah blah blah.Thats not an argument you silly twat. Go back to school, learn the basics in logic and rhetoric and then come back back and present an argument. Until then, all you are doing is making yourself look like an obsessed freak show. Good day twat.
I would vote for a gay black female atheist, or anybody else, as long as they seem like they could run a country with ethics and competence. I wouldn't vote for an atheist who goes in with the agenda of banning religion or making religious people into second-class citizens, but to me a candidate's religion - whatever it may be or not be - is not a deal breaker.
People who strongly believe in a god need help. We did not exist before we were born, we will not exist after death either. Souls and spirits are mischief like ghosts are. God is made up like santa is when your a child. Haunted houses are mischief like heaven. Yet, people are still utterly helpless and stuck that they live because of a god who put them here on earth. Poor saps, I wish I could help them, they are all illogical and irrational in thought.
@Deanbass77 Atheism is not a religion. It is freedom from religions. The whole idea of a State Religion abhors me. America is ruled by the constitution made by Man. No divinity to help or hinder. Masses' education is needed not a Billy Graham of Atheism. Let it grow at its own pace. RD's zeal frightens me. Atheism needs no spokesperson. Individuality in Atheism is its biggest asset: no grouping, no congregation, no temples, no prayers & no preaching. No medals for being a good Atheist..
One of these days and especially THANKS to internet including youtube, more and more people WILL start reasoning what a nonsense this religion is all about.
It's all a matter of time. We will have a woman whom will run as a president and even an open Atheist who will eventually make it up there (here in U. S.)!
@Velvetroomdj Assuming of course that we haven't destroyed ourselves from the inside and been dominated by then. I think the internet may very well have been the best thing that ever happened to the US, maybe even the world, thus far. Unrestricted sharing of opinions and ideas is invaluable to scientific growth. Then again, there is shit like twitter and facebook which also damages us.. the future will be quite interesting.
Atheists are like antiracists, if you say you're non observant or agnostic you're normal but if you declare "i'm antiracist" or "i'm atheist" chances are 95% you worship Obama or Stalin, social planning and social care, you're pro death and you think the ideal world must be full of gulags.
@TakisAthensGr I answer to "you worship Obama or Stalin".
No one worships anyone except their self. Any other worship is a fake one in order to take the money or to take some other shit. Put your 95% in the garbage can. You are totally wrong. Dawkins is CORRECT.
@kalimeraHellas That's what i'm saying. Being an atheist is an irrationally egoistic dogma, it is still a kind of worship and not thinking and it inevitably leads to compulsive statist education, social programs and obedience to the "atheistic creed" with no other opinion being tolerated. Atheists want to use the apparatus of the state to impose their views to others like some theists do. And I didn't say Dawkins is incorrect. I'm saying that Dawkins has no right to tax me and teach my children.
@TakisAthensGr And who has the right to teach? Some jew-cristian-etc. mouthpiece priest or thelogist? Being atheist is NOT irrationally egoistic dogma, but rather a rassional thesis produced by empirical data, because god, gods and goddesses does not act like an UFO hiding in the skies. To hide is not make you a god, but rather make you someone who fear, because at examination we all see the truth for someone who actually PRETENDS a god and has other intentions from us. Continue to next post....
@TakisAthensGr 2) "compulsive statist education" as you say, is what HAPPENS NOW actually at education. In Greece and most counties even now anyone with a high possition in the goverment need to be a devout and religious or at least pretend to be one. All the governors swearing with a priest. And most newborn babies baptized without asking. All these people carring a FAKE social and religious indentity imprinted by the theocracy are REGISTER MEMBERS of the church, only for the church benefit.
@kalimeraHellas Nope, teachers in Greece are atheists and many want to ban religious organizations for they are not redistributing the wealth aptly and give that power to the state. I'm not saying that the Church is fine but operates as a hindrance to centralized power. Most teachers don't dislike religion cause they have an opinion about god, they dislike it because it decentralizes power. Most "atheists" promulgate all Christian teachings such as love, equality, solidarity and justice.
@TakisAthensGr 1) I have my brother to teach religious lessons at school. He finish an univercity for that, and he give written examinations afterwards at which only a few fanatics with high rating are passing. I know very well that ALL students does not need to learn anything and they all pass with good rating. In fact he does not cut anyone. Is a dead lesson state propaganda for god based most in 18 centuries writings. All these hypocrites are put their words in the mouth of god.
@TakisAthensGr 2) The love, equality, solidarity and justice (and many others) are IN FACT ancient Greek philosophy. The christians or any other religion doesn't say anything new. Read ALL the greek philosophy before replay. Religion is an another way to make people OBEY scum fascist wannabe leader. All today teachers are mind controled by day 1 at their education. A common practice even today is to send all the children (now teachers) to the church in order to pray and to confession of "sins".
@TakisAthensGr 3) When you are an atheist the "worship" does not have any meaning. So the correct word is "support". So my "No one worships anyone except their self." statment becames "No one worships anyone, but rather they support theirselves." Also there is a good egoism who actually pushes us to live a good and dignified life whaterever adversities we are facing in OTHER areas-situations of the life. Without an ego anyone must stop to live.
@TakisAthensGr 4) Many people are lost their self esteem and they try to live for someone else and surrender their lifes and/or their property to the dark cyrcles of the theocracy. I think THESE people are good for you because they are not egoists. Too bad for you, they are hypocrites and liers even to theirself. These people may become soldiers or policemen to name a few and go to church (with good clothes) every sunday, or to pray, and the other days are doing their job. Killing and torturing!
I think part of the reason that so many people say they wouldn't vote for an atheist president in the polls is because of the way the question sounds. To some people simplifying it down probably induces a simple answer.
Hitler =Athiest, I rest my case...jk I wont resolve to bigotry. But I do believe in God doesn't mean I fully believe that our own existence was created 6000 years ago and that dinosaurs roam with man. But I find it so fascinating and intriguing in atheism. Would it be wrong to accept God but to believe in Evolution? Yet I will never intertwine my beliefs with Science? That's me. Im a believer of God but also with a agnostic notion to my beliefs...Idk maybe im one of those no athiest in foxholes.
It is incorrect to say Hitler was an atheist. Some evidence suggests he was, some suggests he was Roman Catholic. The truth has been lost through time.
@JonathanTheAlchemist i'm not sure if intelligence is genetic or not, but tradition and delusion can restrain intelligence to it's full potential. Isaac Newton was a believer, he was genius. However, In religion, knowing what made everything, would (for lack of better terms) hinder the pursuit of science and knowledge. evolution vs "eviltiion"
@JonathanTheAlchemist So atheists uniting is segregation? then, i guess every organization or club that likes to collaborate is segregated. An atheist country will still be very pluralistic, just the lack of belief of one certain thing. There will still be different races, traditions, skins, foods, ideas, culture, education, etc. When religion wants to spread, it's ok, but if atheists want to, all of a sudden we want to destroy roots, culture, and make it into a bleak, colorless world. right....
Again, the name "Atheist Country" implies, from my view, segregating population a (atheists) from population b (religious folks.) Gathering together can be done at college campuses and other public places (I've considered making my own atheist club.)
being without a religion is a luxury, because you can do what you want and not follow certain rules and relegation's that will restrict you to enjoy your life.
matter and energy does not appear or disappear. So it has to be infinite just as time is infinite, volume is infinite, length, numbers, knowledge, etc. Its a weird statement, but I think everything is infinite and just exists.
atheists have already fucked this world over. i think its enough. if you deny this all world leaders are atheists, and the only reason there are wars is because of anti religion. they need to make religions against eachother.
@mikej5337 The death number by religion is in the milions, the death number by atheïst is next to nothing. Believing that a world full of religion is making a beter community is just as stupid as basing your life on fairytales.
Btw.. You might want to do some research on what the religieus believes are from the world leaders you think fucked the world over. Because the only aitheistic leader that is known to kill a lot of people is Stalin, maybe Paul Pot, But they didn't kill by their religion.
@gruntguy007 no but you dont understand, yes religion was involved, but it wasnt religions fault, it was used as an excuse to do it, all these wars. ww2 had absolutely nothing to do with religion, crusaders was about power and land, and the pope used christianity to get the people on his side. and dont get me started on 9/11
I believe the atheist is merely a person who can admit that God can't exist, for if God existed, then the world wouldn't suck, life wouldn't suck, people wouldn't suck and even the atheist himself wouldn't be such a huge piece of shit. lol
The walls of the gap that the "God of the Gaps" resides in are slowly closing themselves in, and the prevalence of the concept of God will be crushed. Hopefully, it will happen in my lifetime.
I know the Constitution says there "shall be no religious test" when it comes to who can run for office, but am I alone in thinking we need to stop letting the religious dumbasses run for anything?
I don't see why it matters if a president believes in 'god'. there is no god, if he did believe in god would he send magic beams down from the sky to save the world. just look at the world, looks like it couldn't get much worse, i think god is an alcoholic evil cunt watching and laughing at everyone
Actually i dont mind if the country is run by a christian or an atheist as long as he keeps medieval superstitious holy books out of politics which undermines free spech, freedom of belief, freedom, human rights etc.
If I was asked what religion I was If I ran for President I would say: "If my religion is a factor in why you chould vote for me or my oponent(s), you must not care for the policies I or my oponent(s) have as that is what should be considered when voting." Then I would not answer the question untile after the election.
That girl was such a kiss-ass. Between the idiotic opposition and the fawning supporters, Dawkins must have a hard time making real human connections.
@patrickledford420 …respected only by idiots. There would be a bunch of Christians saying "Hey! Don't make the whole religion look bad! Take responsibility for your own actions and don't embarrass the rest of us." or "That guy isn't a TRUE Christian." There would be some stupid people saying he repented or was tempted by Satan so he should not be held accountable, but the rest of us would see it as playing the religion card to get special treatment, and be disgusted.
The makers of the us constitution would be ashamed if they saw how important it is for a politician to claim that hes a Christians or at least that he believes in god.
@Todestuete Actually, they may or may not have. Many presidents back then favored a form of 'Christian civilization'. This meant that while many of them were deists, they espoused christian values.
I am a deeply religious person myself, raised mormon then turned christian now turned to what most people call ETism and american.
I first would agree that any politician with the balls to not claim a religion would have my vote just for that.
I would even vote for an atheist, as long as he was not one of those angry in your face ones.
I mean lets face it, most politicians are no more christian than i am a frog. but in the US, you almost have to claim some sort of christianity to get anywhere.
@TharosTheDragon Politicians for the most part are religious because it is good for their image. But once in office, no one seems to care toomuch about their faith in anything. just so long as they mention god in a speech from time to time, all is good. howmany times has obama gone to church since he got in?
I believe we can too. These things take time though. Even Sara Palin who was said to be extremely underexperienced, which she is, was still the mayor of a town and then the goverenor of alaska before running for VP. It takes a long time for a politian to work himself up through the ranks to where he may be a president. But if there were an atheist running for president, I guarantee I would vote for him.
True. I agree with you. I would love to see a politician that actually would do that. If I ever knew of a politician that did that I would vote for them 100%.
@MrAsaphelps Rep. Pete Stark is openly atheist but hes probably too old to run, Im betting that Jesse Ventura is too, but he chickened out of admitting it.
@Antitheist123 lol, being raised by an agnolstic mother and with his level of education, it's hard to believe he suddenly became a christian ( except of cource for political purposes)
Let's say God somehow DOES exist. Who would he like more, a person who was genuinely good with nothing pushing them to behave, or a person who tried to be good out of a fear of punishment?
Theists always say that God gave us free will, and yet they're the ones who squander this gift and live their lives in fear, making sure their ticket will get punched at the Pearly Gates.
If I'm wrong, God will judge me for the good deeds I did, if you're wrong you've wasted the only life you get.

The doctrine that God was under no obligation to create isn't a bit of useless and abstract scholasticism. It is essential. It reveals the nature of Gods love. A being who is eternally blessed and needing of nothing.Being love, he desires to give, and gives, seeing in the very moment of creation the necessity for the crucifixion and atonement. He MUST give us freewill. And the very nature of his plan prevents him from showing himself to us but under the most mitigated of circumstances.
Because you know this divine plan... this plan that demands millions of children to suffer, be abused, raped, killed, starved, this plan that demands humanity be allowed to torture each other, and other animals. This plan that demands war, and poverty, and famine, and hatred, and bigotry...
Care to enlighten us on this plan that you know so well as to say it demands God hide himself instead of saving billions?
Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning."--C.S. Lewis
Lewis also said that only someone who was either God, a madman or the devil of hell could say what Jesus was saying. Then he copped out and said, well since I don't think he's the devil, I'm just goin' with God. Too bad he could not complete the syllogism.
Call it a cop out if you want but I believe he came to this conclusion by reason. You need to go back and re-read the chapter you are quoting from. Anyway, I only post comments because I have a burden for lost souls. I feel that any more arguing with you will not serve to bring you any closer to the truth. As far as praying for you goes, or telling you "you are going to hell", I pray for lost souls as a whole, mentioning each individual would be impossible. Going to hell? thats your decision.

Ive never seen a baby dove but I believe they exist. I have faith my brake pedal will stop my car because it has in the past. We all believe in things we never see. We all put faith in things we couldn't possibly be sure of. But when it comes to God most people feel it is silly to believe in something or have faith in something you haven't seen or cant be sure of. Its the horrible responsibility they feel when they consider believing in Gods existence. Atheism is the path of least resistance.
Im talking about personally. I think it is personally the path of least resistance. Easier to go through life believing the universe has no meaning and that there will be no consequences for your actions that go unnoticed by others but would have been seen by a God. Also, I believe in Gods existence because I have observed his operations. As far as practicality goes, what could be more practical than theology and sound doctrine? You seem angered when confronted with the truth.....classic.
The bush fires in Victoria, the tsanami in Indonesia, an Earthquake in India and the cyclone and flooding in New Orleans. With a God like that who needs a devil!
@RasPesher listen ras. Good vs Evil. As is the case throughout the universe. one is trying to destroy the system and the other is trying to protect it. this numpty would be quite happy to destroy it. dont listen to him. he is evil
@formulaone123, you're telling me "don't to listen to him. he is evil" because he is quite happy to "destroy the system." If by system you mean religious inc. (whereby a few people tend to make large amounts of money off their constituents, without paying any tax) then what is wrong with destroying that? It rather reminds me of an ancient story about a man who up ended some tables in a Jewish temple.
@RasPesher How could some of the scientists permit themselves to make a claim that would necessitate knowledge as extensive as the scheme of the universe, when their knowledge of the total scheme of being is *close* to zero, when confronted with a whole mass of unknowns concerning this very earth and tangible, lifeless matter, let alone the whole universe? ...
@1tabligh even if scientific understanding of the world and the universe is "close to zero" it is still way above religious understanding because that is either zero or 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%
So much science for this pseudo-Scientific Demagogue!
How can you delude yourself and believe that hydrogen and oxygen, electrons and protons, should first produce themselves, then be the source for all other beings, and finally decree the laws that regulate themselves and the rest of the material world?
Do scientific discoveries and knowledge cause such a scientist to conclude that matter, *** unknowing and unperceiving ***, is his creator and that of all beings?
Then how can the atheists delude themselve and believe that hydrogen and oxygen, electrons and protons, should first produce themselves, then be the source for all other beings, and finally decree the laws that regulate themselves and the rest of the material world?
@1tabligh Can you quote any scientist that says that "hydrogen and oxygen, electrons and protons, should first produce themselves." I strongly suspect that you are presenting a straw man argument. It's the laws of Physics that allow electrons and protons to form Hydrogen. It is nuclear fusion in stars that eventually produces Oxygen out of Hydrogen. I have no reason to conclude that the laws of Physics have not always existed. Did your creator, create itself?
@RasPesher Before he enters the realm of science and knowledge with all its concerns, man is able to perceive certain truths by means of these innate perceptions. But after entering the sphere of science and philosophy and filling his *brain* with various proofs and deductions, he may forget his natural and innate perceptions or begin to doubt them. It is for this reason that when man moves beyond his innate nature to delineate a belief, differences begin to appear. ...
@1tabligh Basically you are telling me that you don't like logic, because the physical world and logic, does not support your illusions. Your own illusions may seem like evidence to you but don't expect me, on that basis, to accept your conclusion/s.
BTW you still haven't given me the name of a scientist that claims "hydrogen and oxygen, electrons and protons, should first produce themselves."
people in America still associate religion with morality, and this is why most Americans would not accept an atheist president.

AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing The amazing thing about god is that too many people persist in believing in his mythical existence despite the total lack of evidence to support it. Otherwise, there is nothing the least bit interesting about him.
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 Please stop the nonsense. Atheism is dead. The world has rejected secular humanism, get over it. Since the fall of the militant atheist soviet union in the early 90's, belief in God has risen almost 30% in Russia. Not to mention China which is currently experiencing a boom in Christianity. Besides a few loud mouths and scholars who bash God in books in order to make money, Atheism is on the decline and has been reduced to an irrelevant group of petulant children.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Another amazing thing is the amount of wishful thinking that people will commit to their deity. Not only is atheism growing world wide, it is growing in the US. The failure of hard core christianity to provide rational answers to an educated public is hastening its demise. Remember, the universe will continue to operate without the blessings or validation of a deity just as it has for the last 13.75 billion years, while god will perish with the last deluded person believing in him.
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 LOL you're dreaming!!!! Christianity in China has had a 400% increase since 1940. By 2050 China will be the largest Christian country. Every single reputable poll, including Pew and Gallup, say that over 90% of the world believes in a God or a higher power of some sort. Atheism and secular humanism is an empty philosophy that the world has rejected. People who were forced into atheism in the soviet union are coming back to God in droves. Deal with it.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Being a christian, you are accustomed to believing lies and shameful fabrications thus ignoring the world around you. Therefore, I am not concerned about your nonsense and will simply point to the fact that christianity in the US is eroding, and sad, ignorant cult followers like you are leading the charge to its ultimate and inevitable demise. Perhaps you should make the change to Islam...it's a faith that may better suit your irrational and immature worldview. Think about it.
sailcat9 7 months ago
@AegeanKing By the way, you may want to review your imaginary poll figures.
From the American Religious Identification Survey: "One of the most widely noted findings from the American Religious Identification Survey (ARIS 2008), which was released in March 2009, was the substantial increase in the No Religion segment of the U.S. population...(they) increased from 8.1% of the U.S. adult population in 1990 to 15% in 2008 and from 14 to 34 million adults."
They are leaving christianity in droves!
sailcat9 7 months ago 12
@sailcat9 First, No religion has ZERO to do whether you believe in a higher power or not. Its a complete non-sequitur to say that people are becoming less religious therefore belief in a higher power is decreasing. The conclusion does not follow from the premise genius. Secondly, you call Christianity a cult because you are completely ignorant of what Christianity has done for civilization. Western law, dipolomatic practices and rules of war are all based on Judeo-Christian culture.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Christianity espouses vicarious redemption through a human sacrifice and that qualifies as a cult, by any definition. Willfully ignorant people who choose to believe in an imaginary deity, accept the wild assertions of their holy book, and pray to the sign of the human sacrifice are, by extension, cultists. Therefore, you are both ignorant and an adherent to a failed cult. I am sure your friends, if you have any, view you as an object of pity...aside from your fellow cultists, right?
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 LOL what? Human sacrifice has nothing to do with the definition of a cult you twat. That's a complete non-sequitur. Secondly, Christianity has been the bedrock of western civilization for thousands of years. If it wasn't for Christian monks and their discipline, you would have no idea who plato and aristotle were. You wouldn't be able to go and buy a copy of the "the republic". I feel sorry for you. People who are obsessed with their own unbelief are sad and pathetic.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing "If it wasn't for Christian monks and their discipline, you would have no idea who plato and aristotle were." The fact is, most complete and unedited versions of the ancient Greek texts came to us, not through the hands of christians, but from islamic sources who did a much better job at preserving them. The monks, on the other hand, were notorious for editing great ancient texts when they conflicted with the beliefs of their cult. If the texts were irredeemable, they were burned.
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 Don't be an idiot. Where do you think these Islamic scholars aquired these ancient texts? Through the Byzantine Empire and their monks. The Great Islamic scholar Ibn Khaldun himself said in his famous work "Muqaddimah" that Muslims recieved all of their knowledge of science and philosophy through the Greeks. Meaning, the Greek speaking Byzantine Empire. Its also a historical fact that After the abbasid Calid Al-Ma'mun defeat the Emperor Theophilos in battle, (CONTINUED)
AegeanKing 7 months ago

Shame.
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 Who asked the Emperor?? Al-Ma'mun did. Whats wrong with you? In any case, You are confusing western monks with eastern monks. Byzantine Monks kept pristine documents. That is why the Arabs were able to get a hold of such good material. Please learn something. All muslims libraries that are filled with Greek texts were obtained by Byzantine monks. FACT. Byzantine monks were the only ones fluent enough in Greek to copy ancient texts over and over again. Secular humanism is a failure.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing You enjoy making things up, don't you? It's certainly a good thing your cult has no proscriptions against lying or dishonesty. Science is rooted in christianity and they protected the enlightened West from the forces of darkness? Honestly, if there actually were a god, he would be issuing holy dope slaps on you one right after the other. Fortunately for you, however, your cult's nonsense is as spurious as the lies you are sharing here. It's a good thing, too!
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 Btw, science as we know it has its roots in Christianity. Surprise you didn't know that. You are a pathetic loser who is so obsessed with his own unbelief that he takes time out of his day to ridicule people for their beliefs. You're a sad and insecure twat. You don't believe in God? Then move on with your life and stop bothering people with your petulant outcries. Nobody cares about your opinion. Find a hobby.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Science is rooted in christianity? I bet Archimedes and Euclid would be surprised to hear that, although Galileo and Giordano Bruno might want to argue the point. Tycho Brahe, Johannes Kepler and Edmond Halley were pioneers in describing the orbits of comets and planets. The orderly laws of nature they described contradicted the Church's superstitions and for over a hundred years the Church argued against them. Christianity has savagely resisted the truth for centuries. Why lie?
sailcat9 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Before I leave you to your asinine ravings, I want to point to the fact that the cult called christianity persists in resisting science and persecuting scientists, such as the catholic church which threatened to excommunicate scientists who are involved in embryonic stem cell research. Face it. Science, knowledge, and truth are all enemies to religious cults, including islam, judaism, and your christianity. I only wish you guys considered honesty and integrity to be your friends.
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 modern science idiot, not ancient. Christianity persecutes scientists? You live in a dream world. You're anger and vitriol betrays you as a bitter and militant fanatic. Sorry, Faith always wins over secularism. The Russians and Chinese prove it.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Modern science? You mean like Charles Darwin, Thomas Huxley, William Buckland, Charles Lyell, Louis Agassiz, and Adam Sedgewick? You mean like those modern scientists? The last four were 19th century geologists who found they couldn't reconcile the geological age of the earth with the lies in the bible and they were subsequently branded "infidel," "impugner of the sacred record," and "assailant of the volume of God" by ignorant christians. You mean that modern science, right? Right?
sailcat9 7 months ago
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Please explain to me how christianity supported the research performed by the scientists you listed. Christianity historically has attacked science and when it couldn't defeat it, has attempted to ignore it. Your list of great scientists actually works against you. Isaac Newton, for example, kept his atheism a secret to avoid persecution.
Also, it is hard not to be condescending when addressing ignorant people like you. I have no respect for people who are dishonest cultists.
sailcat9 7 months ago
If you were such an "enlightened" intelletuall who doesn't believe in so-called "myths" then why do you take the time and effort to watch these videos and make rude and obnoxious comments? Answer: Because, like most atheists, you are obsessed with your own unbelief and you can't let it go. Why do you bother with something you don't believe in? You are a walking contradiction and your militant hatred towards Christians betrays you as a petty and shallow twat with an axe to grind. Douche...
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing Really, cultist? This is a video on atheism and you are squatting here like a giant stinkbug making ignorant comments on god and your cult. Somehow, you have twisted this in your mind to make the fact you have been repeatedly humiliated by your own asinine comments to be my fault. This is typical of christians, however, as you all appear to have an I'm-a-victim-for-christ thing going, while at the same time you are completely unable to accept responsibility for your actions. Shame.
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 A victim? hardly. You're an obsessed fanatic who has an axe to grind. The fact that you surf videos on atheism tells me that you are obsessed with the subject of God. You have God derangement syndrome. So obsessed with the non-existence of God that you take time out of your day to watch videos about the non-existence of God. LOL!!!! What a douche!!! Get out of your mothers basement and get a job and stop harassing people you sniveling twat.
AegeanKing 7 months ago
@AegeanKing I guess to a cultist any interest in the truth would appear threatening. Your grip on reality must be pretty weak if you are going to believe in an imaginary deity and the rantings of a holy book containing nothing but lies and fabrications, though. In any case, taking you on in a public forum must seem like picking on the handicapped, doesn't it? Why don't you run along and worship your dark, violent demons and leave rational people alone, okay? There, that's a good cultist!
sailcat9 7 months ago
@sailcat9 Sorry idiot, you are the cultist and Dick Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens are your high priests. Your obsession with unbelief is your belief and you are a disciple of the four horsemen of Atheism. You're so lost its actually sad.

Dawkins is chick lit for wannabe statists.
Atheists are like antiracists, if you say you're non observant or agnostic you're normal but if you declare "i'm antiracist" or "i'm atheist" chances are 95% you worship Obama or Stalin, social planning and social care, you're pro death and you think the ideal world must be full of gulags.
TakisAthensGr 10 months ago
@TakisAthensGr I answer to "you worship Obama or Stalin".
No one worships anyone except their self. Any other worship is a fake one in order to take the money or to take some other shit. Put your 95% in the garbage can. You are totally wrong. Dawkins is CORRECT.
kalimeraHellas 10 months ago
@kalimeraHellas That's what i'm saying. Being an atheist is an irrationally egoistic dogma, it is still a kind of worship and not thinking and it inevitably leads to compulsive statist education, social programs and obedience to the "atheistic creed" with no other opinion being tolerated. Atheists want to use the apparatus of the state to impose their views to others like some theists do. And I didn't say Dawkins is incorrect. I'm saying that Dawkins has no right to tax me and teach my children.
TakisAthensGr 9 months ago
@TakisAthensGr And who has the right to teach? Some jew-cristian-etc. mouthpiece priest or thelogist? Being atheist is NOT irrationally egoistic dogma, but rather a rassional thesis produced by empirical data, because god, gods and goddesses does not act like an UFO hiding in the skies. To hide is not make you a god, but rather make you someone who fear, because at examination we all see the truth for someone who actually PRETENDS a god and has other intentions from us. Continue to next post....
kalimeraHellas 9 months ago
@TakisAthensGr 2) "compulsive statist education" as you say, is what HAPPENS NOW actually at education. In Greece and most counties even now anyone with a high possition in the goverment need to be a devout and religious or at least pretend to be one. All the governors swearing with a priest. And most newborn babies baptized without asking. All these people carring a FAKE social and religious indentity imprinted by the theocracy are REGISTER MEMBERS of the church, only for the church benefit.
kalimeraHellas 9 months ago
@kalimeraHellas Nope, teachers in Greece are atheists and many want to ban religious organizations for they are not redistributing the wealth aptly and give that power to the state. I'm not saying that the Church is fine but operates as a hindrance to centralized power. Most teachers don't dislike religion cause they have an opinion about god, they dislike it because it decentralizes power. Most "atheists" promulgate all Christian teachings such as love, equality, solidarity and justice.
TakisAthensGr 9 months ago
@TakisAthensGr 1) I have my brother to teach religious lessons at school. He finish an univercity for that, and he give written examinations afterwards at which only a few fanatics with high rating are passing. I know very well that ALL students does not need to learn anything and they all pass with good rating. In fact he does not cut anyone. Is a dead lesson state propaganda for god based most in 18 centuries writings. All these hypocrites are put their words in the mouth of god.
kalimeraHellas 9 months ago
@TakisAthensGr 2) The love, equality, solidarity and justice (and many others) are IN FACT ancient Greek philosophy. The christians or any other religion doesn't say anything new. Read ALL the greek philosophy before replay. Religion is an another way to make people OBEY scum fascist wannabe leader. All today teachers are mind controled by day 1 at their education. A common practice even today is to send all the children (now teachers) to the church in order to pray and to confession of "sins".
kalimeraHellas 9 months ago
@TakisAthensGr youtube . com / watch?v= lSmsV6rFa-s
kalimeraHellas 9 months ago
@TakisAthensGr 3) When you are an atheist the "worship" does not have any meaning. So the correct word is "support". So my "No one worships anyone except their self." statment becames "No one worships anyone, but rather they support theirselves." Also there is a good egoism who actually pushes us to live a good and dignified life whaterever adversities we are facing in OTHER areas-situations of the life. Without an ego anyone must stop to live.
kalimeraHellas 9 months ago
@TakisAthensGr 4) Many people are lost their self esteem and they try to live for someone else and surrender their lifes and/or their property to the dark cyrcles of the theocracy. I think THESE people are good for you because they are not egoists. Too bad for you, they are hypocrites and liers even to theirself. These people may become soldiers or policemen to name a few and go to church (with good clothes) every sunday, or to pray, and the other days are doing their job. Killing and torturing!
kalimeraHellas 9 months ago
I think part of the reason that so many people say they wouldn't vote for an atheist president in the polls is because of the way the question sounds. To some people simplifying it down probably induces a simple answer.

Segregation is the answer? You do realize that it's a gate to bigotry? You can make that atheist country, I'll sit back here in the pluralistic USA.
JonathanTheAlchemist 11 months ago
@JonathanTheAlchemist So atheists uniting is segregation? then, i guess every organization or club that likes to collaborate is segregated. An atheist country will still be very pluralistic, just the lack of belief of one certain thing. There will still be different races, traditions, skins, foods, ideas, culture, education, etc. When religion wants to spread, it's ok, but if atheists want to, all of a sudden we want to destroy roots, culture, and make it into a bleak, colorless world. right....

You're the one wanted to make an atheist country, do you understand what the connotation of that is?

-"so gathering together, is that so wrong?"-
Again, the name "Atheist Country" implies, from my view, segregating population a (atheists) from population b (religious folks.) Gathering together can be done at college campuses and other public places (I've considered making my own atheist club.)

atheists have already fucked this world over. i think its enough. if you deny this all world leaders are atheists, and the only reason there are wars is because of anti religion. they need to make religions against eachother.
mikej5337 1 year ago
@mikej5337 The death number by religion is in the milions, the death number by atheïst is next to nothing. Believing that a world full of religion is making a beter community is just as stupid as basing your life on fairytales.
Btw.. You might want to do some research on what the religieus believes are from the world leaders you think fucked the world over. Because the only aitheistic leader that is known to kill a lot of people is Stalin, maybe Paul Pot, But they didn't kill by their religion.
Jmmerdan 1 year ago
@mikej5337 We fucked this world over?
It was a catholic who causes WW2
It was religion who caused the crusades
It was religion what causes 9/11
It is religion what causes many deaths of humans and animals. (see the killing of abortionists and the hanging of a dog because he chewed a bible)
Religion causes ALOT of hatred, just because of a few very old books
The world would be better without religion
gruntguy007 1 year ago
@gruntguy007 no but you dont understand, yes religion was involved, but it wasnt religions fault, it was used as an excuse to do it, all these wars. ww2 had absolutely nothing to do with religion, crusaders was about power and land, and the pope used christianity to get the people on his side. and dont get me started on 9/11
mikej5337 1 year ago
I believe the atheist is merely a person who can admit that God can't exist, for if God existed, then the world wouldn't suck, life wouldn't suck, people wouldn't suck and even the atheist himself wouldn't be such a huge piece of shit. lol

Todestuete 1 year ago 3

TheSouthernorycle 2 years ago
freewill is theoretically impossible.

Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning."--C.S. Lewis
TheSouthernorycle 2 years ago

TheSouthernorycle 2 years ago
What fucking society do you live in? Atheism is an uphill climb, both ways, swimming in concrete in these States.
Also: brakes have practical value and their 1. existence, and 2. operation, can actually be observed, quite unlike a god.
TheLastCoolName 2 years ago
Im talking about personally. I think it is personally the path of least resistance. Easier to go through life believing the universe has no meaning and that there will be no consequences for your actions that go unnoticed by others but would have been seen by a God. Also, I believe in Gods existence because I have observed his operations. As far as practicality goes, what could be more practical than theology and sound doctrine? You seem angered when confronted with the truth.....classic.

formulaone123 1 year ago
@formulaone123, you're telling me "don't to listen to him. he is evil" because he is quite happy to "destroy the system." If by system you mean religious inc. (whereby a few people tend to make large amounts of money off their constituents, without paying any tax) then what is wrong with destroying that? It rather reminds me of an ancient story about a man who up ended some tables in a Jewish temple.

@RasPesher How could some of the scientists permit themselves to make a claim that would necessitate knowledge as extensive as the scheme of the universe, when their knowledge of the total scheme of being is *close* to zero, when confronted with a whole mass of unknowns concerning this very earth and tangible, lifeless matter, let alone the whole universe? ...
1tabligh 1 year ago
@1tabligh even if scientific understanding of the world and the universe is "close to zero" it is still way above religious understanding because that is either zero or 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

1tabligh 1 year ago
