@linkstwlilght i know its been a year since you asked this but if you wanna know why soad split up it was because of song issues between daran (guitarist) and serj (singer).Serj wanted to continue singing about mysteries of the world and how simple things confuse us the most. And daran wanted to sing about hate and how much america is stupid really..and on top of that daran wanted alot more singing time and serj said he sang enough already and played the guitar which was he said too much already

Some of their performances are good. The huge use of cocaine by Daron has make him older.. I think the best period of soad was at 2000-2003. Daron old SOAD worse. I dont mean they are not good.
