with that said could connect your PS3 cables into the hava then instead of 720 cables, 420 cables into the output/input whatever and still get good results. im not looking 4 perfect quailty just half ass crapy quailty
Sorry, I wasn't alerted to this message. If I don't respond in a day, a PM is always a good idea.
And no, pass through does not work like that. The HAVA does not work like a receiver where on input supplies an output to every output jack. If you use component in, you must use component out.
Either way, as long as you use s-video or component cables, the quality will be generally the same -- stay away from composite (R/Y/W) cables if you want to record footage.
Does this work for mac? I dont know if i understood, do i have to use a wirelessly connected computer if i am using the wireless function? thank you for any help...
Do you connect the cables to the TV for the output
justintime201 9 months ago
@justintime201 Output cables from the hava go into the TV.
Console -> Hava -> TV

do you know if there is quality differences between the wireless and Titanium?
TraumaHD 2 years ago
Exact same.
RoganSarine 2 years ago
also with the platinum do you have to plug the ethernet in your router or can you plug it into your pc ethernet?
TraumaHD 2 years ago
Into PC you'll need a cross over cable.
Into router is kind of how it was meant to be done with an ethernet cable (what you plug your computer in with)
RoganSarine 2 years ago
Damn i've got the HDMI cables, not the component.
NsLxDrEaMzZx 2 years ago
If you want to record footage, switch now.
The cables are only like $7 from monoprice anyway.

Shit son, did my CAG link in my signature do something for once? :P
HAVA is definitely the cheapest last time I checked, and even though I'm a CAG, I own an HDTV, so if you do, that's really your only option.
If you have a surround system like myself, an HDPVR is really your only option.
That's generally how to decide if your a CAG.

Nothing worthwhile can. Component are the same thing for all intensive purposes.

for the hava wireless can you still play your game if the hava isnt plugged in
c00lant1 2 years ago
Maybe? I've never tried it. I don't know if the pass through is powered by the HAVA, which my definition, it shouldn't be.

How much did it cost?
