The thing about leather is they can fake how good the quality is, they can make it soft as you like, add on the smell, all sorts. If you're looking for truly good quality leather, ask someone who works in a leather shop, someone who really knows their stuff, so you won't lose hundreds on something that tears easier than you'd expect.

I'm really not into this fashion for leather at the moment. It's actually becoming impossible to get your hands on fake leather because real leather has become so cheap and so in demand. This is only possible because of the growth of large scale, amoral animal slaughter in China and the Middle East.
