Why we (humans) thinking that Water is nesesry for the so called "Life", Life does not depends on water, its just our experience on earth, in other planets there will be some other compound like water and other spcies like (Humans, Animals, trees etc) us. i can bet that there is no Life (Earth like) within our solar system, because some components can be nesesry which can not perform actions but their presence make the system's work perfect. just Think which we can not think...!

anyways i think we have to help Mars in order to make Mars create WEIRD animals and alot of other stuff. since Mars has no animals yet. it would probably create exctremly rare fishes if their even going to be fishes.

Life can be VERY diverse. But there are limits. Life is always carbon-based and needs water. Without them cells or whatever they're made off can produce the chemical reactions needed to have a functional body. That's why scientists are looking for planets with liquid water, only those can harvest life.

Why do they crank the colors up into the red? Why do they not adjust for true color?

It is its real color, you can see it from Earth even without a telescope. In ancient times it symbolized the god of war (thus its name Mars in the Greek culture) because of its color.

The main reason of the red color is because there is a lot of the iron oxide in the soil of the planet.

Rover analysis of the soil reveals very little iron oxide. That was the assumed explanation for the red color of the SURFACE , before we got there. Surface color of a planet has nothing to do with the color of the sky.

Sky color has to do with how the atmosphere filters the light spectrum.

We see a red sky on earth at sunrise and sunset because sunlight travels through more atmosphere.

And yet, Mars atmosphere is supposed to be 1/100th that of earth so how can the sky be red ?

Sounds pretty far fetched. Although I do recall that the very first image that NASA displayed, way back when showed a light blue sky.

Even now, years later, a few images emerge with a nearly white sky with a bluish hue.

What we need is to send some guys and gals out there to have a look around.

But first, back to the moon to reclaim one of the flags. That would be neat.
