@sonomane There is no way to determine if it is daytime as they are inside a building therefore the regular lights are on thus causing it to be bright. Secondly how do you know if it is smuggled. . . you are making assumptions based on a video that has one view point.

To me if looks like a shelter for injured or rescued animals.

@0707jewel they probably wouldn't have wire cages in a shelter for an animal that specifically can't be around wire cages. Their circulatory system is very delicate and unique and things like wires and thin ropes can really injure their paws. Plus it doesn't matter if it's daytime or not, they need to be in a dim environment. Whether the light is natural or not means fuck all to a nocturnal animal that is blinded by light.

I wanted to make a quick comment to all of you animal lovers out there thinking of getting this or any other illegal, endangered (or exotic) animal for a pet. If you get an illegal animal and it becomes ill a Vet will not treat the animal even if the animal will die without treatment. Also depending on your location it may be difficult finding a vet to treat exotics even if they are legal to keep as pets -ck before getting the pet. Keep this in mind unless you have a Vet in the family.

This is not a pet, it is an endangered species! Cruel people are hunting them, pulling out their teeth and keeping them in rusted cages until their paws bleed! The few that survive this trauma are sold as pets, preventing them from having babies etc.. Supply and demand.. Stop buying them as pets!!!!

I'd get fat and pale as fuck if I had one of these as pets because I wouldnt leave my house with it, It is absolutely adorabale. One thing though that does suck for future refrence if you do get the lucky chance of one of these as your pets is to be careful with them because in domesticated areas one of the main ways of their deaths is stress, due to dogs, cats, kids etc.., they also die a painful, and long drawn out death so be careful they're like glass.

ok...yeah are so cute but they are considered endangered mainly and have an extremely high mortality rate in captivit. The loris's bite is toxic! if you find a pet loris it will most likely have its canine teeth broken or pulled out by the seller so it can't bite. It's also just plain cruel! PLEASE don´t buy one! never! And is ILLEGAL have one like a pet. Don't support the bottleneck effect that trade is causing for this species.

the bite of a slow loris isn't toxic.

Slow lorises secretes brown sap like liquid from the bend of their elbows, they then lick it off. If one bites you around the time of the licking, you will end up with allergy symptoms.

As 'cute' as this is, I hope you are aware that it is ILLEGAL to own these animals as pets in both the UK and US. They are an ENDANGERED species, and buying them as pets encourages the illegal trade and breeding of them in poor conditions and the MAL-TREATMENT of them. Their teeth are also pulled out when they are sold as pets.
