  • good video.i was never shown by any one how to do this..had to find out the hard way mostly by being laughed at going down the road..with tarps flapping..this is good for knew drivers to watch.as for the drivers with bad comments why dont you move on and let someone help our industry

  • Who needs tarps. Get in to heavy Haul, and you will never see a tarp. Well, at least i don't. Be kind of silly to tarp a d-11 n dozed, or a windmill tower.

  • These videos surely need improvement..But MyTee products are the place to go when buying tarps......they are 30% less than lweading competitors..PLUS they dont skimp out on spacing D-rings and eyes....TarpStop tends to give you way less D-rings and eyes..PLUS they Rudely paint their name on the sides of every tarp.

  • You told us to tarp from back to front which is correct, but when you got down on the ground to secure the sides of your tarp, I saw the back of your trailer and there was no tarp on it, meaning you just started out by tarping the front first.

Secondly, to the flatbedding noobs... the bungees used in this video do not have the hooks bent in (the ones that go through the rubber bungee). If this guy actually used those bungees like that, he'd show up at his delivery with holes in his tarp.

  • you tarp like a rookie you good buddy

  • very nice video very helpfull

  • Thanks 4 the vid. I just wish u would have followed through with the bungy hook ups in front instead of talk'n about it, hooking & dropping off & pulling the camera off. This lead 2 some confusion. It would've been much better to complete the whole front tarp-bunging showing the complete proper way to do it. U kinda left me hanging.A 2nd vid cont'd on the sides would have been the way to go. So it ended up kinda half ass.I don't mean to complain.Just trying to help you help others. Thanks

  • now hes gonna have to cheat his log book by 30 minutes b/c he wanted to show someone how to tarp. if you REALLY need know how to tarp, then you need to call your travel agent.

  • Funny thing is, you know how you can eliminate all of this B.S.???? Load those skids into a van and have a great day. HAHA

  • Hey I gots a better idea than all of you's.... CONESTOGA!! Nuff said.

  • @StayingBack71 You are a person of experience. All you need know is the $10K for the Conestoga. Well worth the price. In time savings alone.

  • Two major things. You never full tarp from back to front. Front always goes over back. Next, roll your tarps so you don't have to slife the D rings to side unfloding. That's one way to kill your back sliding tarps sideways. Last, never put a tarp on a pallet to load on a trailer. Again the driver has to pull it off. If placed and balanced on one fork the fork driver can put it on no touch by driver.

  • Why are your 4 inch straps outside the rub-rail?

  • @samini122 Not required by law. That was a screw up by DOT enforcing rule 393.104 where it said, when ever a trailer is equiped with rub rails driver should place straps inside when ever practical. That was interpreted as must and KY distric court sent it back to DOT as uninforcable. The rule was removed months later.

  • Thank you very much, Much help appreciated..keep on truckin driver

  • guys full of shit...........

  • Rookies! on your tail flaps don't have your bungies pointing out! think about that. you are having metal straps pointing outward.. and you pull the tail down..guess what's going to rub?? on the side yes!.. Tail NO!!! not pulling the tarp tight? this guys load would flap in the wind!. and this guy is trapping from the front first.. don't do that! start from the back first.

  • yeah hook your bungees with the hooks out.....................man you must really like patching your tarps. the way you do it, by not crimping the end of the hook attached to the bungee, you are going to tear a hole in the plastic bag anyway. myself, i'd rather save my tarps

  • Also center your tarp on your load before completely openin it. Its alot easier to center before its open. Dont hook your bungies on the outside of the rails and carpet or card board should be placed for pertection where your tarp over laps sharp objects or corners

  • thanks for the info bud! much appreciated

  • @KristiandaChristian No Doubt!
