Thanks Chris - and this one did have single channel R/C and a fixed roof when I got it. The only access was through that flap which was impossible! The radio had to go and the roof made to lift off. The advantage of radio is that you can avoid stalling and so don't need the blower on all the time.
I love the glow under the ash pan and the way the steam acts when passing under the bridges- excelent. When running how long can she run between putting another charge of coal on the fire?
Thanks Zach - the idea with these locos is to fill the firebox right up and they do say 10 mins running is possible. I can never leave it that long on this line as I need to check the water - so perhaps 5 mins.
I wish I could a full size version of Ace just like Lyd.

@Summerlandsteam Here's a fact, Lew was 188 and Lyd (when repainted) will be 190 which means there should be a 189 and Ace would be great canidate.
