@dimplezcutec Hi, Yes the pink L&P needs to be wet :-) we don't use any type of glues or resins with Inverted Moulds, the extensions are bonded to the nail using just acrylic. :-)
@MExJUDITH Vivaldi, go to 3:23 for the full name of the piece. And before you ask (as many people have done so already) we have a licence to use it lol.
@kookiekruncher Hi thanks for your comment :-) actually quite a lot of people have these jewels, they are reusable and in the long run are actually far more cost effective then things like Swarovski crystals. Most clients only have 1 or 2, this particular hand was done to show off the available jewels. :-)
@MrORTIZLOVE Hi, the first brush was a 'Flat' number 4 that I use for the intricate stuff, I think I got it from Sally's. The other one is a 'Round' Number 8 Kolinsky, you can get these from The Nail Artist website. HTH :-)
Hi, thanks for your question. Lifting is really down to your prep and the acrylics :-) So as along as you prep correctly and use a good range of acrylics then lifting is rare. Hope this answers your question :-)
Hi, thanks :-) You can make them as short as you or your client wants, just put in less acrylic and cut them shorter, we have lots of pics on our facebook page of all sorts of lengths. Yes you can do a fill, the IM's are very thin so you can buff through them. If you have done a complex nail glitter design, then you have to decide if it's quicker to soak off and do a new set. Remember with IM's you do ALL the acrylic work in the mould, so you can make the tips while your client is soaking!
Just do a people search for ENUK Inverted Nail Systems. Add us a friend and then take a look at our 'Tagged' Photos. Lots of techs add their nail photos and then tag us showing they were created using IM's. :-)
hola, mil gracias, está genial. me puedes decir por favor donde encuentro esos moldes? y las piedritas? gracias. Vivo en españa y además si ese acrílico es de secar con lámpara o sin lámpara
Hi, our website address is in the description and at the end of the video. Just go to it and follow the ENUK logo, a menu page will appear, choose the top option 'Buy Inverted Moulds here' This will take you to the online purchase page. HTH's
It depends on the client and how hard they are on their nails + their natural growth rate, but we get clients that go 4+ weeks before an in-fill or new set is needed. Some clients 2 weeks. And of course it depends on the quality of your acrylics and your prep. Poor acrylics and bad prep and ANY nail extension will suffer including IM's. Use high end acrylics and excellent prep and you will get a fantastic nail. Where IM's excel is with the art, the application and protection from chipping.
Those are spectacular and unique, I've watched several of your videos and I think this and the cocktail nails might be my favorites. I did have a couple questions. What's the purpose of leaving the black off the back of the gem? And how thick of a nail do you end up with using these, I know a lot of people who find normal acrylics to feel bulky or awkward if not filed thin enough.
Hi, thanks for your nice comments! :-) There is actually a little hole on the back of the stone that lets light through so the jewel sparkles more and that's why we use clear L&P to finish off with.
These nails are actually quite thin. We can do them thinner because the IM adds more strength (like an exoskeleton), so you don't need extra acrylic to get the same results. And it's impossible to overfill an IM with acrylic, just like a cup, you can only put in what it will hold :-)
Ah, I watched it again and saw the tiny hole, that makes sense now about the black! One more question, is it possible to do these nails without having to make the natural nail so short, and still have the gorgeous tips I've seen on your tutorials?
It is advised to cut the natural down as the extension will stay on better and longer, maybe a good idea to swap to an overlay rather than a full set? HTH's
Hi, yes it is black coloured acrylic powder. It hardens on it's own due to a chemical reaction with the acrylic liquid and does not need a UV lamp like gel nails. Hope that helps. :-)
Hola ... sinceramente me encantan tus videos.
Gorgeous! Love the Vivaldi, too. :)

@kookiekruncher most people just have 1 jewel and they are re-usable so in the long run they are actually cheaper than using other types of nail art.
