Hey I have a question for you guys. Out of all the comic sites I visit none of them have a review of the Wonder Woman movie. It was incredible, and I feel like fanboys continually slap her in the face because she's a strong female character. And if you've ever seen a typical fanboy's reaction to a girl in a comic shop then you know what I mean. So my question is, are you guys going to review the movie? You've done other movies in the past, please help promote this one.

well, I took on your challenge and I must say I was kind of unimpressed. I did like the "old-timey" fun of this comic but I don't think I quite got out of it what you guys did. It was a pretty good read, but not good enough to make me pick up the other five issues. It was heads and tails above Bendis's take on the Sentry though.

The Paul Jenkins/Jae Lee mini was MEGA, ULTRA spectacular! The follow up w/ JR jr was meh. Bendis' take is too predictable. Before you read The Age of the Sentry, read the Jenkins/Lee mini.

exactly!...and you would also understand how Mr. Fantastic was willing to form the Illuminati and also to make the hard (and bad) decision to get rid of the Hulk...Reed Richards is one of the key figures in the Sentry story!

Nope Sentry is still lame. Poorly defined power levels, and the whole "forgotten by everyone" thing just make him an uniteresting character to me. He always jsut comes off as Marvels screwed up version of Superman. Maybe if they had not made him the most powerful being in the Marvel U he could be a little more interesting, but its too late now.

I blatantly disagree. I used to like Sentry until he just gave up and neutered himself for years. Lack of confidence drive hubris can only be an interesting character mechanic so many times....
