People having trouble: one door will open if you have no power running to both. Make it so one receives power and one doesn't.

Only problem i have with any locking mc designs is they only lock when ur home :/ combo locks are such a pain though.

@HNrosdi there's not a house built around it, but if there was, that would be inside (that's where you can lock the doors.)

@grandtheftuploading5 if you want to place your doors the other way, you have to invert the signal (i.e. using a redstone torch). read more about door logic in the minecraft wiki.

Question: how can you make the door able to open from the inside but not from the outside when it is lock? What he has in this vid shows a locked door with both inside and outside unable to open...

This is kinda like what I had on mine and it's far less complicated than yours! But anyway, does anybody knows how you can make the doors accessible from the inside but not the outside when it is locked? Cause what he has here a locking system(which I don't have sadly enough...) made both sides of the door inaccessible...

Good, but it is more complicated than it has to be. I prefer a simple and gate like the one in my vid.

@ThomasA2011 Your absolutely doing something wrong. If one door stays open, it means that it got the wrong input. Try inverting the signal :)
