  • Why was Richard Williams studio seemingly nolonger involved with the Panther title sequences after Strikes Again? His studio was apparently animating this Panther video cassette commercial (that I think is much better looking than the Depatie Freleng title sequences from 78 onwards) the same year as Trail of the PP (1982).

    What gives?

  • Whoops! I marked that comment as a spam on accident! Sorry! I was going to reply something. :-(

  • Why didn't MGM used it?

  • ROFL!!

  • I can't remember the series where the gave the panther a real voice

  • It was simply called "The Pink Panther", and aired from 1993-1995. Pinky's voice was done by Matt Frewer (a.k.a. Max Headroom).

BTW, two PP cartoons from 1965 featured a talking Panther; Rich Little supplied the voice.

And he's always been able to speak in the comic books.

  • I love this spook of the MGM's logo. Useing the Pink Panther as Lio the Lion

  • MGM should have used this logo for "The Pink Panther" instead of the one they did use!

  • Yeah, me too. But they do have one with Steven Martin's Inspector Clouseau movie.

  • That's the one I was talking about! United Artists produced the original '64 version (actually, Walter Mirisch did). MGM's treatment of the logo was cute, but this one would've been better.

    Hom-buGURR!!

  • I wish they made Pinky do that logo too. :D

  • Me too! :D

  • You mean "Pinky Dinky Doo"?
