What good would it have done if he, being one of the most powerful individuals in this world, just panicked on national television? As some one who joined after 9/11 and did two tours in Iraq, I personally can tell you that we went there for the right reasons.....the ONLY thing that any one should have to say about Bush should be that he Gave Sadaam 48 hrs to comply with UN weapons inspectors which is more than enough time to haul weapons out of there to IRAN.... Bush is already lying at the start of this Doc because he said at the White house press conference that he saw the plane crash on a TV outside the classroom but on this Doc he said he was told that the planes hit the towers. He was already asked how did he see the attacks before they were on TV but Bush never answered that reporter in the white house. He never said one time back in 2001- 2002 that he was told about the first plane hitting the tower. He said it was on TV in the high school.

Bush is a class act no matter how much bull any of you will throw at him. He stands up for his country and does not make choices based on popular opinion, rather sticking to his core beliefs. I find him to be a very strong-willed man, and I respect every single decision he had made in office. He is a simplistic man who takes pride in what he does. Notice how he never bad mouths anyone or plays the blame game as many of you have done? He will probably stand as USA's last patriot in office.

I think he did a great job during this whole thing. Yes 6,000 plus American soldiers have died since the war has started, but 58,000 Americans died in Vietnam, and we had absolutely no business being there! Our war is against the terrorist, who killed 3000 innocent American citizens on our own soil, and sadly they aren't confined to just one area, they are all over the world even in our own country!

the best part of the interview is when he tells the driver "slow down al qaeda isnt here" and how that was the only humor of the day, then goes on to say that in a later meeting he hears the first mention of al qaeda being responsible.
either he was lying about what he told the driver, or he had a Freudian slip.
oh and the part on af1 when he's talking about watching the horrors (fighting back a smile) and then its cuts to a pic of him kicked back in his chair with his feet up.

As some one who joined after 9/11 and did two tours in Iraq, I personally can tell you that we went there for the right reasons.....the ONLY thing that any one should have to say about Bush should be that he Gave Sadaam 48 hrs to comply with UN weapons inspectors which is more than enough time to haul weapons out of there to IRAN.... I stayed in the Bath Party Head quarters building where there were NBC chambers and Iraqi NBC protective in the Basement.... Enough said.

First was Saddam aided the terrorist and that was false, then Bush said he had weapons of mass destruction, that was false; then he said this is to liberate the Iraqi people. He used 9/11 to invade Iraq. He didn't have time? This was planned well before his election. Which is why there was a Florida miscount of votes.

I didn't like bush at all, but i honestly can't knock any of the decisions he made on that day. So much was going on at once, and i can't even begin to imagine the amount of stress and confusion he must have felt. It's easy to look back and point out things he could've done differently, but you have to remember how chaotic everything was. Like he said, in a matter of minutes he was thrust into the position of a wartime president.
