    I would also like to see the CSRP to have broaden the topic from adolescent to adult depression as well, to reach out those of the older generation, who may still be marginalised from seeking help because they are from the generation who traditionally deny the idea of depression. Maybe the Centre should redirect its focus from preventing suicides to understanding depression instead.

  • It is comforting that I can find a video like this that attempts to educate Hong Kong society about this mental illness, because, as someone who is Chinese and a sufferer since her late teens, I feel that depression is almost unheard of in Chinese culture in general, let alone being an embarassing taboo like in the West. However, I feel that some of the information here could still be improved greatly, and that you've failed to mention the that chemical inbalance of serotonin in the brain...
