I could believe it's an alien more than anything else. If you think about it, and believe that aliens spend most of their lives in space and zero gravity, their eyes and muscles would develop differently. Their eyes would develop to take in more light because there is less light in space, which would explain why its eyes reflected the light. He doesn't seem to have much muscle mass which would also be a side effect from developing in zero gravity. Just my opinion.
