  • Hyvä sarja .

  • How come it closed?

  • It probably was not as popular an attraction as it once was. You can find it on Google Earth. It appears that the buildings are still intact.

  • I made it all the way from the UK to see this place, glad I made it before it closed, shame wonder whats happened to all the stuff?

  • I came from Minnesota to work at the Ponderosa the summer of 1983. Probably the best summer of my life. I was sad to hear the ranch had closed. Watching the video brought back great, great memories...

  • Oh hell, I never did get to go there....think it will re-open?

  • i sure hope so.... i say all us bonanza fans get together pool some money and open it or buy the land!

  • If you look it up on Wiki, there is a link to the Washo Co, NV land use map for the area which calls for an expanded theme park and themed hotel. So far there hasn't been any movement on it, but considering the current economy, I'm not surprised. Maybe when things get better.

  • aww man to bad its closed...why did it close?

  • never knew it was around.

  • Hollowed ground! Don't forget to visit the Hop Sing Snack Bar. Great biscuits and gravy. Yeehaw!

  • Thank you !!! Great memories. Was there for the last weekend, the last rope trick and shootout. Have all my tin cups from my childhood and beyond. I actually cried watching. I loved that old place. Thanks for the song as well.

  • Excelent. This is all my young time coming back.

    Thank you

  • Excellent ! Bravo !!!

  • Excellent ! Bravo !!!

  • My parents took my brother and I to the Ponderosa during trips to Lake Tahoe. Such happy memories. I remember drinking Coke out of tin cups with a picture of the Cartwright's on it, posing for pictures on plastic horses and feeling like I was in a real western town. I took my wife there recently but it had just closed a few months earlier. I was so disappointed. Thanks for the happy memories!

  • I have alway's wished I could go here and see the sights in person and take photos! Bonanza is my favorite western of all-time! It looks more beautiful on this video than I've ever seen it look!

  • Yo quiero ir

  • lamentablemente como dice el final fue cerrado en el verano del 2004

  • I worked there for 7 years. Great people owned it. Bill Anderson and family. Too bad it closed but it was a business decision. Love the place.

  • Its really sad! A rich business man bought it and lives there now him self. It does not look like it will be opened again. But its still there.

Look what it looks like now!

  • How come it shut down??

  • Great video, Care

    Little Joe forever
