I was at Ft. Bragg in the 82 Airborne from April 1994-December 1998. I left the Army Feb. 1999. We were the first Brigade in the 82 to move into new barracks in early 1998. So, we were happy, but also sad to leave the old barracks we had called home. There was so much history to them. Not just us. But from all those who came before us. They had been there since the 1950's. So they all had alot of stories in those halls.
