holy cow, this guy is such a character! he's definantly gonna get along w/ Shaq and Steve. he doesn't get as much credit as his brother does. he's an amazing player. i'm hoping that he'll replace what we lost in Shawn Marion. I'm very excited to see him in the Summer League w/ DJ and Alando! Who, by the way, deserve to be given plenty of minutes this season. They've totally proved themselves worthy of some time on the court after watching them in Albequrque.

I don't know what you all talkin about. Our team isn't transforming into a slow team. We're jus gettin better defenders. I'm sure this guy'll work great with Amare. He's going to get subbed in everytime Shaq gets in foul trouble or when a team pulls the hack-a-shaq. All in all, we got a strong wide bench with Barbosa (SG), Girecek( SF), Lopez (C), Dragic (PG), and Diaw (PF).

What do you mean by that? Why wouldn't they? He's a decent defender and a shooting threat off the bench. 6 foot 6 inches, he can play both shooting guard and small forward. He can get better if he stays with a team instead of bouncing around the league like he's been doin the past 5 years. Who are they gonna get to be a back-up small forward for Grant Hill?

The suns drafted the one back-up point guard, Dragic, from slovenia, who will instantly make an impact as a back-up point guard. This will push Barbosa to the 2 spot where he is more comfortable cuz he's more of a shoot first kind of guy. Gordon has a nice stroke sometimes, and I feel he's already a decent off the bench small forward. Unless the Suns can pull off some trade involving him and some other non-vital players, Gordon's gonna stay.

I actually think that even if they don't sign him back, they do still have Eric Piatkowski (who probably won't be back) and their young small forward Alando Tucker who could step it up this year and get some playing time. Other then that not sure maybe we'll see some surprise trade in due time.

You're right that Eric Piatkowski won't be back next year. Tucker has potential and could develop into the next Shawn Marion, but right now, he lacks any real professional experience. Linton Johnson will definitely provide the defense that makes teams win championships, but he offers nothing more than that. We need a small forward that can both defend and shoot. For now, Gordon is the only back-up small forward that can do that, that is until Tucker and Johnson improve on their weaknesses.
