  • How does the light work in that tank?

  • love the tank :}

  • what kind of lighting are you using and does it work well with your low tech setup?i ask because i also have a 55 gallon and i am looking to upgrade my lighting before starting to plant. also do you have any algae problems. anyone who can answer this would be great.

  • And how much do they cost this goes with my other comment

  • Can someone answer these questions ok R german blue rams cichlids, if so do they need high ph, r they a hardy fish, r they a community fish aka not aggrasive, what do they eat, and can I keep one in a 5 gallon tank with 2 green Cory cats and 4 glofish

  • @peplo6 I have 3 blue rams. one is a big male who is always ramming a smaller male over the female ram..the big male also rams the female to keep her away from the other male..they are very non aggressive with other fish..i have 2 danios, much smaller and 2 clown loaches..rams play with the loaches no agression at all..but they ram each other all day..at night rams sleep and stop the ramming...they like brine shrimp..get a bigger tank even for one. I have a good filter..heater most important

  • nice tank,i love blue rams but i always end up killing them

  • Simple but effective. Nice.

  • Where did you get your Rams?

  • @GPitbull11 Go to oddballfish (dot) com. They have some of the most beautiful Rams I have ever seen.

  • Awesome tank! Is that an Aquaclear filter?

  • @metalstorm91291 Thank you! And yes it is. Cheers!

  • do u know if these species of ram are compatable with cardinal tetra and could i have 2 or atleast 1 in a 15 gallon

  • @AwesomeAssassin1000 Absolutely compatable. Thanks and cheers!

  • beautiful :D when you say low tech, what do you mean? are you using special substrate or fertilisers or is it just a regualr tank with a filter and heater? i'd love to attempt something like this!

  • @littlelauren971 @littlelauren971 Thank you! Low tech meaning no co2 injection or high wattage lighting. Also, very little water changing. I did use a premium substrate but other than that, just regular gear. Cheers and good luck on your endeavour!

  • very nice , i like it

  • @bm20197 Glad you like!

  • very nice well done

  • Super aquarium!

    What are your waterparameters?

    PLEASE ANSWER!!

  • @ManuelMu98 Thank you! I have to admit, I haven't tested my water parameters in a few months. When I do I'll post it here. Cheers!

  • Absolute beauty! Thanks for the post. Your ram looks happy And healthy, cheers!

  • @Ecoismyname Thank you!

  • hay how long did u soak the wood for to remove the tanants to make it that clear

  • @AwesomeAssassin1000 I didn't have to do any soaking as I bought the driftwood used. Thanks

  • Your ram makes me drool. Great tank, aside from the very obvious row of the foreground plant (hairgrass?). Since this is an old video, bet it looks loads better now though

  • @crystalclearwolf Thanks. I really must do an update video, as you've pointed out the tank looks much different now.

  • Wow! That's one amazing gbr

  • @jarrod989 Thanks! They really liven up the tank! Cheers!

  • NICE! Beautiful photos! How about a black background?

  • @nitusen Thank you and that's an excellent suggestion.

  • what light is that?

  • @TheSeverum Just a Coralife 48" dual T5. Cheers!

  • @NorthLight68

    ok thanks

  • @NorthLight68 I have the same light :D

  • Thanks for the comment! Compared to a hi-tech (high wattage lighting, co2 injection, lots of prunning etc.) setup it was quite cheap and easy. I've read numerous articles of successful planted tanks using (non-scented, non-clumping) cat litter as substrate! Good luck!

  • @NorthLight68 no problem and you used cat litter as substrate!? is that even good on the fish?

  • @TDWP1804 Actually I didn't, but have seen videos and read about others that have. Google "Cat litter aquarium substrate" and you'll see. Cheers!

  • beautiful bro i love the way you set it up everything blends in perfectly good job dude i wsih i can make a tank like this.. (only if a had the money lol)...
