  • what your talking about is called pyramiding, it's the way to go

  • yeah definitely true. im 15 half inch but feel weak tho i can often curl 20kg )=

  • the people that dislike fitness vids like these are fat

  • you look like bruce willis and vin diesil mixed

  • looking at ur head it does seem to suggest ur a big lad and in shape and could kick my arse if i said my comments to ur face, but really though, why the head shots when filming?

  • man i had to check if this was posted by expert village. never follow health advice from someones head, i want to see proof in the pudding, but i guess if u have a pudding like body ur gonna do head shots and wear black to disguise the moobs and flesh apron.

  • hang about, isnt muscle building a case of rip and heal. and dont athletes who dont warm up injure themselves, tear a muscle or two. isnt the word rip and tear pretty much the same thing, so surely ur gonna do more micro tears to ur muscles so they heal bigger by not warming up. seriously though if ur warmed up wont ur muscles be more able to cope with the reps, so if u warm up u have to work harder to rip and heal than if u didnt. of course somewhere inbetween, swing ur arms around for 1 second

  • What are reps??????

  • what are reps?

  • @439okey Reps are short for repetitions. This is the number of times you move a weight during one time period (or set) without stopping. 1 set of 10 reps would mean I push a weight 10 times before putting it down and resting. If I repeat this then I am doing a second set for 10 reps.

  • @abandond oh k thnx

  • im 13 what should i start out with

  • this is Sebastian MacLean, the Canadian actor?

    coool

  • Im already strong as hell cause im samoan but if i was stronger i could kill! thanks man

  • @ZaneSiolo Dude ur fucked up, you dont want to kill someone

  • @Jappeke007 im fucked up? you took a youtube comment seriously lol

  • hi im quite thin and my muscles aren't that big they're kind of normal only when i flex but i just wanna know how to get my muscles to show large even when i am not flexing is it just work out more or lift the weights slower? cos i lift them quite quickly

  • i want to get strong as fast as possible, but i have access to only two dumbells and one 35 lb kettlebell due to money... I also have a 100 lb heavy bag. I wanted to know if there were any tips that anybody could give to me... I have almost no upper body strength, and almost no running ability...

  • @UzumakiItachi675 This is really important for everyone, since a lot of people don't warm up at all and then get injured.

  • No disrespect but you dont seem that big so what can you tell me that would make me want to listen to your advice?

  • @NRP128 No disrespect taken. I can't claim to be the largest man on the planet, but I have stood on the national bodybuilding stage, placing in the top 2 as a junior and in the top 8 as a senior competitor. For more on this just type Facing Goliath into the YouTube search bar. I tend to pack on muscle or lean down according to what my job requires, so I'll leave it to you to decide if I'm worth listening to. All the best, Sebastian

  • I'm 15 years old and am seen as scrawny by others. Should i stick to simple bench press, pushups, and chin ups to get beefier arms or should i look into more complicated workouts about curls and dead lifts etc.

  • @Bz115 dman i'm wondering the same thing i'm the same age as you if someone gives you an answe rlet me know right now i'm just doing research on how to get stronger i could send you links when i see something good

  • @narutonevergivinup alright and thanks

  • @Bz115 You want to keep your body balanced, so you should cover all muscle groups. Also, you will get bigger muscle if you do this because it will signal your brain to release more hormone more often without causing you to over train. Another BIG factor is that you must eat a lot more to gain size.

  • I'm 14, is it ok for me to lift weights then? When do i train to much?

  • if i do about 100 pushups and situps everynight plus going up from 50% of my max adding 10% more each week do u think this is a good workout and should i increase pushups and situps each week also??

  • @castermedia I would look for a way to add more resistance. Try having someone sit on your back while you do push-ups.

  • @castermedia

LOL at that comment OMG noobs

  • @castermedia judging from your comment id say u can do about 25 pressups until u cant do another 1.. so how about u do 15-20pressups about 8 times with lyk 40 sec rest inbetween sets and do that twice a week to get a bit of a better physique... bodybuilding is a completely different ballpark ofc

  • @rocksock00444

    Holy Shit 14 240lb!

    Daayuummm

  • im 14 and about 6 foot 4 inches and around 240 pounds but my main tip for gaining muscle mass is to go on the adkins diet and work out at about 75% of your regular workout and warm up for 15 minutes then when you lift since you dont lift as much as normal you dont get as bad a damage to your muscles and go up 5% or so every week or so until you get over your average belive me youll get some major muscles and lose alot of weight i go down from 240 down to 180 and get ripped

  • wtf

  • i could bench all your guys' moms!!!!!! fucking pussies

  • idiot.

  • 1m 10 and i benchpress 125 and 180 with my legs

  • wow, are u serious ? thats good if you 10 and can bench press 125 and squat 180. I mean I know there are prob kids that can do better but hey there are adults who start working out that cant even do that.

  • ok u r not normal

  • hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahah fucking liar u dont squat 1000!!!!! hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahha fucking liar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i do this to

  • I've been trainning for a year now and my strength has increased four times but my muscle gains are minimal. I look like an ant lifting a pea. Is this normal? About half inch increase in my arms . I train everyday alternating muscle groups and train very intensely. (Max 6-8 reps as heavy as I can)

  • @edwardtang1977 try doing more reps with less weight

  • You can't lift everyday or u will never give your muscles time to repair and get bigger.

  • I really like your videos and i've tried out your methods and it really works! Just want to say thanks. You are very humble and sincere., too.

  • hey thx for the tip.

  • Glad it helped.

  • im nine is that bad

  • Not at all. I would suggest you focus on doing weight free exercises for now, such as push-ups, chin-ups, sprints and crunches. Leave it a couple years before you get into a lot of weight training.

  • hey you right man if i just doing push up without the warm up i get tried fast after my ten push up but with the warm up i hit 20 still feel strong

    thanks for the tip

  • My pleasure

  • well thats great and all but wat exercise do you do to get gradually stronger because i dont want to be sstronger for like only a week i want to stay strronger and get even more strong as time goes by

  • Stay consistent, keep track of your lifts and set goals that push you to improve. That is the key to long term gains.

  • is it ok to do wat you said on the daily like doing that everyday

  • You should always give your muscles time to recover. If you train every day then train different muscle groups. Never train a muscle more than one or occasionally twice a week.

  • im 11 years old and training really hard is that bad

  • Training hard at any age is fine. The trick when your young is to use less weight and more reps, so you don't damage you joints or hamper your growth.

  • thx man :D i will try this :) but im just 14 years old is it smart for me to train verry hard? :)

  • You should be careful about the amount you are lifting, since your growth plates can be effected by really heavy weight. Training in a range of between 8 to 15 reps should keep you weight reasonable for your age though. Always use a spotter and get clearance from a doctor though as well.

  • im confused

  • This has some sense and i understand the nature of warming up....I ve also heard to much of a warm up can tighten ur muscles as well as cause injury..Be careful to amount that you warm up...

  • The key is not to use weight that fatigues the muscle during the warm-up. Just use enough weight to increase blood flow.

  • Good vid, i've never thought much about warming up.

  • Just a clarification. This technique works, but is not the only way to train effectively. Warm-ups are important, but you will need to focus on higher reps in general attimes, so lifting heavy is not always the objective... Unless you are more into powerlifting than bodybuilding.

  • Get off the internet and start working out. The best thing I think to do is get some dumbells. And start working your arms, shoulders, and chest. Those get biggest quickest in my experience. You can even sit on your couch and watch a movie with dumbells. A lot of people are intimidated by a weight bench. So start with dumbells.

  • can you tell me some exercises to do at home to grow my arms bigger?

  • curls & Skull Crushes

  • push ups

  • i have an idea.if there is a machine that gives 2 times gravity than earth and you train there.then when you are on 1 time gravity will you jump fast?also im fat 150 kilos 17 age and 1:80.for a year i have to study alot but i also want to become strong .plz suggest me wayes

  • man start runnin dayyyme

  • i was wondering...is there a better way to get a six pack other than sit ups

  • Yes. Sit-ups tend to work your hip flexors too much. Try various forms of crunches (reverse crunches and side crinches) and leg raises.

  • Hey, good video. Im 15 year old and a skinny guy, im not so strong or have big arms at all, but i would really like to get strong and bigger biceps etc. I have some dumbells, 3 kg they weight each, what is the best way to get stronger? should i do it every day? wich technique should i use? should i use before or after the workout etc? can you help me with this? in details, that would be much appreaciated. Thanks

  • hi im 15 years old and i cant afford anything to work out with or the gym and i cant lift my self so do you know any good work outs to do at home

  • You have a number of options. My first suggestion is to try a good calisthenics routine, as you can do this without weights. Even if you are unable to do a regular push up, you should be able to do them by starting out pushing off on an incline, using steps. As you get stronger you can move closer to a flat surface. Another option is dynamic tension exercise and these are all easily found on Google.

  • Hi im 12 years old i weigh about 81 pounds and i just started working out like 2 days ago i do about 6 pounds on each end of the bar thing and i can do about 30 of them then ill stop wat should i do keep doing that or go higher? and how many pushups do u suggest and wat about situps?

  • Well, I would suggest upping the weight a little, until you are using something that you can do for 13 to 15 reps. I don't suggest going higher in weight than this for at least 3 more years. However, you should make sure you a have a spotter when using a bar with weights. Alternately, try doing push ups by doing 20 reps, taking a minute and doing another 20. Do that 5 times and see if you can do 100 pushups in under 7 minutes. Sit ups - Do crunches instead, 15 to 20 reps per set max.

  • i have a problum my left knee has a sharp pain every once in a while well about 2 time a week it bugs me. what is a good way to heal my knee using weights

  • Avoid doing heavy lifts. It may also be necessary to back away lrom doing leg extensions for a while, depending on where you injury is located. If you are able to do them without pain, I suggest using a leg press machine. Place you feet high and wide on the foot plate with your toes even hanging over the end of the plate if necessary. This will keep some strain off the knee, but you will need to be careful about how far you bend the knee if you have any major issues. Physiotherapy is an option.

  • oh so do leg press with a leg press machine how many reps? of how much weight

  • so true !!!

  • Thank You so much for the information, I'm finding lifting much easier by using your method.

  • Glad it's helping.

  • And if you are 50?

  • If you're 50 this still works. However, I would use some caution in general for those doing a lot of low rep heavy lifts, particulary if one is past middle age. Joints and tendons can be more prone to injury or general stress injuries. You will still be able to develop and improve, but training heavy at an older age should be done more sparingly in order to enjoy injury free long term results.

  • I am 13 years old can I do this would it help??

  • This warm up approach should be benefitial at any age. Aside from the strength boost you get, this process will reduce your chances of injury.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • My pleasure

  • dude this does make a huge difference when ur lifting...thanks man

  • No problem. Glad you applied the technique.

  • natural exercises are the ebst, ive been doing dynamic tension training for 8 months and i gained strength alot quicker than being in the gym

  • I agree that dynamic tension is a great form of exercise. I actually started out using those methods years ago and saw some good results as well.

  • thanks

  • Great tip m8t thanks, i never thought this worked but i tried it and made a hell of a difference.

  • I know what you mean. The first time I tried it I wasn't expecting it to make such a huge difference either.
