I actually had a really nice conversation (sitting at a long light) with a guy who just got a new Ducati and was SUPER excited to talk about it. Had no idea what he was saying but he was really nice. More often than not, it's people in cars who are assholes.
I've only had one problem with a biker. On a freeway, at about 11pm, he changed lane in front of me, to overtake a car that was in front of him, while I was overtaking him. He changed lane not even half a meter in front of me.
I flashed him and then he turned back into his lane. Then after I passed the car he was trying to overtake, I turned back into the left lane, as you normally do. (I'm Australian).
Them he came up right next to me, and started yelling at me like I did something wrong.
Yeah, happens to me quite often too - drivers who are afraid to look. But I have to admit that my black leather jacket and its protectors do give me pretty broad shoulders. But apart from that, I look completely ridiculous and still, they won't look at me (maybe because I look too ridiculous?)
I don't think people not looking at you makes them afraid of bikers. They teach us to never make eye contact with another driver to avoid any kind of road rage, and it makes good sense to me. You never know how a stranger will react.

I know you have been to England. But you obviously haven't ridden down an English country road. They are one lane wide, with dirt lay-bys to stop to let other traffic past. This truck stopped in the lay-by, and the bike tried to go round. On a small road like that, there's no room to filter.
Normally I would say that the OEM spoiler on a subaru is ricey and ugly. BUT, seeing as I want to put the LTW wing on my e36 M3... I'll just go with the argument that my wing is functional, the subaru one is not :DDD. haha just makin fun.
That Subaru's clean, low, simple, clean. And that spoiler/scoop's OEM from the factory too.
I don't hate bikers, I respect you guys, I let 'em pass in the canyons when it makes no sense to hold them up behind me. I don't know about other car guys. I mean, BICYCLISTS though? are assholes... especially in the Malibu canyons. They DELIBERATELY hold you up riding their bikes in the middle of the road not giving you any space to pass.

I don't know what the shit's about, that was a nice Subaru. Wasn't real loud, like somebody complained of, wasn't riced out, like many complained of. I don't hate bikers, I respect you guys, I let 'em pass in the canyons when it makes no sense to hold them up behind me. I don't know about other car guys. I mean, BICYCLISTS though? are assholes... especially in the Malibu canyons. They DELIBERATELY hold you up riding their bikes in the middle of the road not giving you any space to pass.
Riders are intimidating, man! You guys are scary looking! lol.

@SCHIZOPHRENlC I hate the bicyclist out in Malibu too... they're so obnoxious! It's especially annoying in the morning when they're in the middle of the lane going 5mph not even remotely concerned that some of us have jobs we need to be at.
I kinda wish I could bulldozer them all off to the side and leave their bikes in a big pile as warning to other cyclists... >_<

@KeriNyx I understand. Temporary rage sometimes makes you want to do bad things, but seeing people actually do very bad things makes you reconsider.
I myself have often felt the need to run someone off the road, but I would never actually do that, just like most normal people wouldn't want to run a bicyclist over intentionally.

the reaon they don't look at u my friend is cuz they are straight up embarrassed or scared or just fukin assholes lmao but personally when ever i fuk up cut someone off or something i do feel embarrassed as well but at least i look at the driver/rider and some how try to communicate "my bad" but i always see the same thing happnin to me people just wont look and trust i live in Toronto and for sum freakin reason people are realllllly bad drivers here.

I don't know what the shit's about, that was a nice Subaru. Wasn't real loud, like somebody complained of, wasn't riced out, like many complained of. Just a solid, reasonably fast car that isn't too expensive for normal people to drive. I like 'em. Not as much as motorcycles, but hey, for car, that's a good'n.
