  • I would even go so far as to say this lot invented punk - in both sound and attitude, but the MC5 may just have beat them to it. Pink Fairies are far superior in my opinion tho...

  • I think this is the single edit of this song. Which means it doesn't have the intro from the beginning of Never Never Land album. Excellent song, thanks for the upload!

  • thank god for this song, no really!

  • Most motivational song ever - thanks dad for telling me ;D

  • @Excogitant

    Cool dad you must have!!

  • Saw the Pink Fairies twice, at the Roundhouse, I got a free ticket to Phun City and saw 'em again there in 1970. Seems like the day before yesterday.

  • I think this is the "single edit" which cuts off the guitar noodling heard before the song kicks in.

  • Never Never Land of course .

  • crazy :D

  • even uncle harry can tell this aint live

  • I've heard about this band for a long time, but first time hearing them - thanks, everyone : )

  • Well at least someone believes it :) Thanks mrtea. One of the great unknown riffs - you had to catch it live to really enjoy the biker theme

  • You went and ripped us off man, - you BLEW it!

    ie - not live. studio.

and everything that 'fenlandfolly' says is correct too!

  • This is the studio version.

  • This is not 'live' but off the their 1st album, circa 1969. The only ligit recorded live version is on the triple Glastonbury album - before the days when Glastonbury fest went 'mainstream'. There are a few bootleg versions going about of this track recorded in London area of 1969/70 - the end riff goes on for much longer as it was not just a hippie track but for rocker/ bikers also - punk music followed later on - but hey, they could not play as good.

  • I can remember seeing the Fairies do Do IT at Harmony Farm 1.

An event put on by Tunbridge Wells Arts Lab. A farm near Nutley up on the Ashdown forest ( Sussex,) think it was the summer of 71.

  • I'm not sure but I think the Pink Fairies were on the same bill, at the Poly Tech. I couldn't belive how in your face they were, this is 10years before Punk Rock. luv it

  • This is theon the first album - not a live version. Twink & Russ on drums & the great Paul Rudolph on guitar ... one of the best psych rock guitarists of all time.

  • Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! But is it really live? Sounds like the album to me

  • DO IT !!!!!! Oh yeah, Uncle Harry, don't freak out.....lol

  • 1:59 SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • Dont think they did Dingwalls, they did the roundhouse.....a long hot summer sunday nite July 13th 1975 ( its on me crime sheet lol)......say no more nudge is as good as a wink to a blind (...........) FUCKING GREAT BAND!!!!

  • Thank you, thank you thank you for doing it!!

  • COOL VID....COOL BAND....! saw em live at dingwalls think it was in the 80's kin excellent.

  • Yeah, the Glastonbury version has 10x more energy than any studio version like this.. unfortunately it's crap audio quality, but who cares.

  • Love it but is just the album version.

  • Oh YEA! My all time favourite Pink Faeries track... Don't think about it... DO IT! The best punk anthem ever, way before punk was even thought about... LOVE IT!

  • Just do as the man says and don't think about it!!

  • GET IT ... !!! ...

  • At 1:17 he is doin it ,yes indeed.

  • Excellent!!

  • In full agreement. Thanks for all the posts you sent.

  • Definitely the studio version - but who cares? Pink Fairies at their very best

  • Sorry man,

but this is totally the regular studio version.

    Nice vidya though! 8D THANX!!!

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

  • thanks

  • InNiT
