My wife has an 06 G6 GT with the 3500 and I LOVE the tone you have outta yours. Can you tell me exactly how yours was run, what size piping you used and is that a single 2.5" IN 2.5" out Super 44?? Is there any rasp in the higher RPM's??
@1GMFanatik , yeah its 2.5" in/out. i would print out the list of different styles of super 44's and take it to wherever you plan on getting it done at. have them decide how they would like to run the piping. honestly, there is rasp in the higher RPM's but thats b/c i removed my resonator. i would install the super 44 and if you dont like the tone then remove the resonator. rasp isnt horrible. i personally am probably going to get a glasspack in place of where the resonator was
@DoYouKnowDaMuffinMan I wouldnt reccomend the 80 series, 50 series will be quieter due to an extra baffle and extra packing. The sound will also fade out at an earlier rpm. 44 series is good for a thumping mid bass and 40 series original with no packing is my prefered choice, having slightly lower bass.

i'm thinking about picking up a super 44 for my 07 3.5L and deleting the res like you did, but did you use stock piping, or did they replace it?
oh, and you should post a fly by, it sounds good.

ok i bought the muffler. im getting the exhaust done next week but im keeping the res on for now.
