Funny thing is they sacked Lorenzo Music because he didn't sound like Bill Murray (so they say) but they also sacked Laura Summer who sounded just like Annie Potts & replaced her with Kath Soucie who sounded nothing like Annie Potts.

Way I see the Lorenzo Music situation, Dave Coulier may have sounded more like Bill Murray, but I think Music sounded more like *Peter Venkman*. You know what I mean? The voice didn't technically sound like the actor, but the personality of the voice was an exact match. It was a like a "translation" of Murray's voice for cartoon purposes. It conveyed Murray's kind of dry, sarcastic, lazy arrogance in a way that Coulier's actual intended impression didn't.
