actually it's not light/dark. it's paragon and renegade and it's not quite what ddog64 says. paragon means you play by the rules. generally it means you're more diplomatic (use charm) and you try to save lives. renegade means you reject the rules and are aggressive (use intimidate) and individual lives don't matter as much as the final result.
they're separate meters though. So increase both meters rather than taking stuff away from a meter. The only thing the meters do besides measure how you've been acting is the higher your renegade meter is the higher of a level of intimidate you can get. Sony gave Kojima-san his big break, and really put him and Konami on the map. So I really do think that Kojima-san would honor that and keep Metal Gear Solid 4 a PS3 exclusive. MGS4 is too large of a game to port it to the XBox 360, don't quote me on this but it's pretty much developed on a Blueray disc for crying out loud to much of a hassle to port it over without dumbing down graphics.

Nothing like Halo or Star Wars. It's familiar, yet uniquely different. The story is great. The narrative changes as you play. Meaning if you are a good guy, you have a hopeful ending, if you're a real Bastich, well your ending is grim. I highly reccomend this game.

Depends on what you want. CoD4 story mode is really short. like 5 hrs. Mass Effect is like 30 hrs.
If it's online play/multi-player that you want, then CoD4 is great. I have both and both are great games, but if given a chance to play either or, I choose ME.

Mass Effect is nothing like Halo. I've beaten Mass Effect 4 times (recently beat it on insanity) and it beats the shit out of Halo 3. the PS3 is weak, the xbox 360 outperforms it. the ps3 has a multicell processor with only enough pipeline to have only one running at once where the 360 has less cells but has enough piping for all of them so there is no bottleneck effect as seen in the PS3, dont give your money to sony, theyre a shitty japanese company

Yeah actually. but with quite a bit difference it looks like is that its an RPG/TPS which makes more indepth. Also another biggie is that there is no THE ONE thing going on. But yeah it does seem inspired by Advent Rising.

Nah, bioware made a great universe here (well... galaxy) and the aliens and history are just as good as star wars, it's just that kotor felt like a better game because of the sidequests and such, heres hoping for me2 to have great sidequests like kotor had, like the murder solving ones, they were great.

Yeah actually. but with quite a bit difference it looks like is that its an RPG/TPS which makes more indepth. Also another biggie is that there is no THE ONE thing going on. But yeah it does seem inspired by Advent Rising.

This game is pretty good but I thought more would have came from it but whatever, still a good game, I would rate it about a 9/10 just like I would rate Uncharted a 9/10, both great games.

Nah, bioware made a great universe here (well... galaxy) and the aliens and history are just as good as star wars, it's just that kotor felt like a better game because of the sidequests and such, heres hoping for me2 to have great sidequests like kotor had, like the murder solving ones, they were great.

THe LASt thing i was gonna get was a 360, yet its games keep on taunting with bribes stronger than,than, shall i say it..... yes stronger dan SEX. I still want a wii, maybe if another cool game comes out for the 360 i'll just buy a 360 and secretly play it behind my future wii's bak, like bitch.

when i get home it was fun for about hour hour and a half.
then it gets annoying.
the save check points are so far apart, the game gets repetative to the point that its really annoying, and they put in alot of usless cinematics that just piss me off

I am 100% getting this game! Bioware are just brilliant at making rpgs. Also, to the people arguing about ps3 and 360 just stfu. If you can't afford the other console just keep your mouth shut, instead of bashing on it.

I wouldnt say PlayStation 3 bites the dust since it was Sony who won last two cosnole wars and Mass Effect may be good may be the other way around, I'm not sure but I like Sqaure-Enix much better then Bioware.

kingdom hearts is fun but its too easy
ff13 mgs4 and tekken 6 have a very good chance of being on the 360 later since theirs no secured exclusiver ights
uncharted was good but too short according to reviews
everything else is pretty much b rated

Best sci-fi game ever made. Seriously, PS3 bites the dust again. Sorry to tell you guys this, but BIOWARE > SQUARESOFT these days. Bioware creates the most immersive game worlds, hands down. Such a shame these boards get trolled by jealous PS3 fanboys. I might as well go troll the Unreal Tournament 3 comments. The only excuse to get that shitty system in a LONG time.

I watched another trailer of this and I was like "huh? ok...." but then I watched this one and I think it looks awsome :) quite amazing how good graphics are these days. And Is this a "xbox only" game? I heard that it might be coming out on PC but that's as much as I know

Argh you Edmix and you LichKing, need to seriously chill out and stop with the dam argueing and no LichKnig, Final Fantasy 13, Tekken 6 and Metal Gear Solid 4 arent going over to Xbox 360 or going as multi, all three of those games are exclusive to PlayStation 3 and I dont want to argue with you but PlayStation 3 does have great games on it weather it be your opinion or not, PlayStation 3 does have great games on it and great games beyond this year and at the end of this year.

its very possible namco did put ace combat 6 on the 360 so tekken 6 is a a high possibility since it can be more succesful on the 360
same goes for mgs if it sells like shit with the ps3 small user base it can be on its way also
thing is even if they were claimed exclusive things change and sony does not own rights to any of these franchises while ms owns the right to mass effcet

Just like I mainly got an Xbox360 for Halo 3, Halo Wars, BioShock, Fable 2, Mass Effect and others of course too oh and I'll be getting Kill Zone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 next year when they come out along with White Knight Chronicles, Tekken 6, Little Big Planet and others of course wow BIG gaming year next year thats for SURE this gen fight will start next year it aint no where NEAR finishing YET!.

Really I hope that Kill Zone 2 turns out the way its supposed meaning I hope it wont be dissapointing like the first one was but devs can learn from their mistakes and it was also due to the PlayStation 2's Hardware too because halfway through it was ported to PlayStation 2 from PC and it didnt handle it right because well PC's Hardware is better theb consoles and we know that for a FACT!.

Whoever bought a PS3 is a fuckin' dumbass. Im not about to go out and buy that high ass bullshit when all the GOOD games, namely GTAIV, are coming out for both systems. I don't play games alot, but fuck buying a PS3 when I can get a 360 for bout 280 bones and play GTAIV when it comes out, with exclusive content bitchez. 360 only people. MS is publishing therefore, nowhere else. As for the EA buyout of Bioware/Pandemic, Bioware still said that Microsoft was a longterm partner for Mass Effect. In other words, it's going nowhere other than the 360.
