  • Killer! What kind of dumbass can dislike that video?

  • 俺の手足よりうまいぞ!!w

  • The Addictive Drums Midi Keymap shows the drums are mapped from keys 36-82 . That's only 46 keys in total, so how do you map them down for a smaller keyboard?

  • @PRSOne USE the Octave shift function in keyboards.

  • DUDE WHAT IS THE PRESET YOU USED AT 2:00 MARK.. CANT SEE IT..

  • MAN...u rocked out!!!!!!!

how do you make that cool split screen in your video!!!!!!

  • @MIXMASHUP

We use two camera and also screen capture software to capture the movies at same time. Then mix them up by video editor software and also add text.

  • BAD ASS! what is that your using to play on, with the pads? I really like the effect at 3:29

  • using PadKontrol's Roll efefct function.

  • This is stop-motion.

  • this is not stop motion.

  • wow that was stupid. too bad you can't play real drums...lol

  • thats true, but I really dont think a real drummer could play that beat machine like he did!

  • @listenhard1985

actually he can play drums.... he plays pretty much anything that he puts his mind to.....

  • sick!

  • AWESOME! 最高

  • y con una de verdad?? jejejeee

  • Amazing ;)

  • AD is a wicked program but I wish they would release more AD PAKS with acoustic kits.

  • I'm VERY new to digital recording and up till now I have only used drum machines. I have Logic Pro 8 and I would like to know can you actually create your own sequences in Addictive Drums instead of looking for loops? I just don't like being locked into loops and want to create what I want to fit my songs exactly. HELP!

  • You can create your own stuff with it.

  • You'd have to map it out in the piano roll editor in the main window (look for the tab at the bottom of the screen). Each piano "note" represents a MIDI trigger within the AU instrument (in this case, Addictive Drums/EZ Drummer, etc). You can manually draw the MIDI sequence map with your mouse, or to make it easier, use a MIDI keyboard or e-drumkit. Look for other vids of people using their keyboards/drums to write MIDI pieces with Addictive Drums.

  • @mrwrestling7 you can do it with logic 8

  • круто

  • I am so buyin this

  • hey what are our presets for the padkontrol?

  • sorry for the bad response.

I guess the preset is original.

  • Brillant!

  • supadopesick!!! you are the man keizo!!!

Keizo, the next japanese audio pro gamer!

  • Crazy!

  • I bought the PadKONTROL and Addictive Drums a couple months ago. Love it! Your video inspired me to get them, and I don't regret the purchases a single bit. Awesome stuff!

  • Wow this is so awesome! Is that hard to learn?

  • amazing

  • thanks a lot man. :) everything was just easy to use. sorry for the tons of questions. you just need to play around with it for a few days then you get a hang of it already.

  • Does addictive drums have any drum loops you can drop into your recordings? and if there are how many are there ?

    Thanks dude

  • There's no audio loops you can drop. But there are 3,000 MIDI patterns you can drop export to your MIDI or Instruments track on your DAW software.

  • disregard the last post, I made it work already :) How do you deal with latency? And is the programming of the buttons fixed already? The buttons don't include the toms and other stuff. It only has the splash the snare and the bass.

  • About latency, you can set lower in the audio tab in the Live's preferences dialog. And what is programing buttons you said?

If there are any problem, you should be asking XLN Audio or customer support of your local distributor or dealer.

  • sorry for the trouble but...

My PadKontrol just arrived, then i know only a little knowledge regarding ableton. Do you know where I can find the tutorial on how to connect these 3? Live & PadKontrol & AD? Or even just Live & PadKontrol? thanks

  • Let's say i have Ableton Live 7. What's the next step? Do I download/purchase Addictive Drums? how do I install that plugin?

  • You need purchase AD. You have to buy the box package from your nearest dealer or web. The installer will guide you to install completely.

  • do you where i can find a tutorial of functions and stuff i need to know about PadKontrol and Ableton? I just purchased mine. ^^

  • I don't know, maybe no tutorial, I guess. But it's very easy to setup. that I wrote before.

  • Do you know an ableton live tutorial with functions regarding Korg Padkontrol? I just recently purchased one. I'm a big fan btw. ^^

  • Hi, I guess there's no tutorial. But if you using Live 7 or later, it's very easy to setup. You just choose Padkontrol from the control surface chooser in the Live 's preferences MIDI tab.

  • is it able to play AD on keybord? like the one i am typing on now?

  • Hi, This is depends on what host application you use.

If host application has the function you can.

As we know, Ableton Live and Apple Logic has this, but we think this function is not best for realtime play. Because computer keys are not fit for the real time play.

    Still questions?

  • ehm.. but what program you use to open the pluggin? cubase?

  • In the video, we using ableton Live 7. This is best and the only program designed for both production and live performance.

  • Thanks alot.

  • O_O I N S A N E!!!!

  • what is that machine called you are playing?

  • Playing application is Addictive Drums, a plugin instrument.

Host program is Ableton Live 7, running on MacBook.

    Drum Pad is Korg PadKontrol.

    Still questions?

  • nope, thnx.. with 'machine' I ment the Korg-device.

  • fuckin amazin. cool program.

  • Awesome.

  • wow amazing ^^

i've just the demo version, but it's still cool ;)

  • great drummer.

you can get that sounds with just addictive drums or you need to eq, fx, masterize it, etc ?

  • All of sound are only from AD. But some of sounds were using AD's built in EQ and FX.

  • sounds good dude.

    nice fractions. real tight.
