Red Star fans know him in all his fame. I mean at his last seasons in Red Star there was a stage when we almost could read his mind and knew his next move just by looking at him, or knew what he could do in some moment but wouldn't because he simply chose not to do it

as piksi played in europe it was only allowed to play 2 foreign players...later then 3 players till the bosman judge..also but its just my opinion...many ex-players form red star had problems with injuries...especially the knee.....but no doubt

He played for Red Star Belgrade until he was 26 I think.

At that time Red Star was among the elites.

He also took Yugoslavia to quarterfinals in Italy World Cup.

Yugoslavia lost to Argentina on penalty kicks after playing with 10 players 3/4 of the game.

Back then they didn't protect players like they should have also. Piksi was beaten up horribly by the time he went to Olympic.

@dragannov In those days Red Star was big club. 1991. red Star was european champion. Piksi scored goal against Milan in Italy.Few years before that Red Star won against Real Madrid 4:1.

@dragannov He played for Red Star which was before the Yugoslav wars one of the strongest clubs in Europe..In those days before 1992 and the war Red Star could play equal with any club on the planet... We were Euro and World champs,reached final of UEFA cup and many many times reached final phases of Champions League in that era...After Red Star he went to Olympic Marseille which was also one of the strongest clubs then and still is pretty good...
