videos like this dam near messed up his career. why make him feel like a celebrity when he is not. he's better than that. some better guidance and he will go a long way cus he's a better fighter than what he has shown so far.
Andy Lee is back. Everyone jumps to major conclusions when a fighter has a setback. I guess that is a "normal" response but...it's one fight. He had a horrible day vs. Vera but he's a great fighter! In the big fight of life...he lost one round, not the fight. He's back and better than ever. Andy Lee can make his career whatever he chooses to make it. I predict we'll eventually see him as a world champion!
poor andy lee. to me, until he was ko'd last night by vera, lee seemed to be the real deal that john duddy turned out not to be. he lost because he bought into his own hype too much. he was looking past vera and felt the fight was a lock because his team and fans said so. but, like I and everyone who's ever boxed competitively knows, there is no such thing as a sure thing in a fight. i hope lee bounces back strong and unafraid.
andy will be world chamo within two years, hes the real deal, and because hes irish he will generate a global appeal, unlike the mayweathers and de lahoyas of today.
De La Hoya/Mayweather sold 2 million PPVs, and roughly De La Hoya sells 800,000 PPV buys on average.. He's doing just fine without the rest of the world.
