  • Cool, ,,... keep on researching , you are on to something .

  • yes, but low dopamine, cortisol etc. are also very very common in clinical depression

  • Anyone with fibro, stop using milk, egg food. most people are resistant to this, but yet keeping it and destroying their bowel flora and fauna....We're not supposed to drink or eat milk after being a baby. No other animal can digest milk either, and nether do they eat

  • accidents can CAUSE damaged thyroid... trauma can CAUSE thyroid issues..

  • Thank you for posting this video

  • This video is not as dumb as some on here have suggested. Like many of us, this guy has had to do his own research because so many doctors out there "think" they know it all, yet all they know is what theyre taught at med school. Time & time again its been shown that "normal ranges" in tests are not always relevant when it comes to certain illnesses. Reading books & doing your own research can give you greater insight & awareness than most GP's, despite not having letters after your name!!

  • @galway45 I am SO SICK AND TIRED of having to be my own damned doctor! I'm doing all the grunt work and researching everywhere....AND HE'S THE ONE WHO GETS ALL THE FUCKING MONEY! AND, ON TOP OF THAT, HE GETS TO GO HOME AND SIT IN HIS CHAIR, WHERE HE WILL BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY FEEL HIS MUSCLES RELAX, THAT IS SOMETHING I HAVEN'T FELT SINCE 2003, AND WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER FEEL that AGAIN! FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!

  • the most common cause is thyroid dysfunction from nerve interference.

  • testing

  • Testing

  • I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I just recently found an article about soy causn hypothyroidism. I read the symptoms and I suffer from all of them. My pain began after I started drinkng soy milk 10 yrs ago. I have just recently quit, which is practically in all foods that are sold, it is even in vitamins. Since I stopped intaking soy, my pain has improved by 90%. If u suffer from pain and you consume soy, this might be what is causing it. Soy is toxic and causes hypothyroidism.

  • I had several tests that showed normal hypothyroidism....but then I want to the Fibro and Fatigue Center in King of Prussia. They test T3 levels vs. RT3 levels. The t3/RT3 ratio should be 3. Mine was about 1...359/349. I had functional hypothyroidism possibly and thought I had fibro. Now, I did have CMV virus which wore my body down and caused several problems, which all ended up in fibro, but I think the undetected thyroid problem was the biggest..most doctors don't know how to test this

  • It's obvious that the presenter of this video does not have any real world experience in healthcare. Ready articles and books does not make your a professional. Just alot of BABBling.

  • The presenter is correct. There are many causes for fibromyalgia. When you experience the disorder yourself, you have to be your own advocate with the medical field. Not all doctors understand it. Some doctors believe it's in our heads! This is the reason we have to do our own research. He has done some of the same research as I have & it doesn't necessarily mean FMS is caused by hypothyroidism.

  • Fibro is certainly not in your head. No one denies whether fibro people actually have all these horrible symptoms. I know firsthand. However, I do think fibro problems come from a greater problem, whether it be viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic. CMV virus started all my problems..but I did have undiagnosed thyroid problems...most doctors don't test T3 and RT3 levels and their ratio, which should be around 3.

  • Thanks for posting, ace8842. I see you play baseball? I play roller derby!

  • I play church softball..that is about all I can handle. Many times, I can barely make it to the field, but I get more oxygen to the brain outside and at some point, adrenalin takes over and I make it through the game OK. I'm not enjoying it like I would, and I am sore afterwards bad, but sitting home I'd go insance. I think fibro symptoms are all legit...I just question whether there are other reasons our immune systems get run down and we all end up with the same symptoms.

  • Did you get your Free T3 and Free T4 tested? My thyroid tests always come back normal and I have full blown hypothyroidism, I suggest you read a few great books written by the thyroid experts, one is called "Hypothyroidism: The unsuspected Illness" By. Dr. Broda Barnes AND "Hypothyroidism Type 2" by Dr. Mark Starr. Then you will believe me, the tests for testing thyroid are NOT accurate and need to be done away with. I am living proof of that! - Good luck.

  • Fibromyalgia is undiagnosed hypothyroidism.

  • hmmm no it's not. i live with fibromyalgia and get tested for hypothyroidism every year.

  • bharrod, I was diagnosed with hypothyroid at 14, and I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 22. why did it take 11 years for me to suddenly develop these symptoms? why did i not have the symptoms of fibromyalgia even when i did not take thyroid medicine for 2 years? and why did my fibromyalgia develop due to classic triggers (car accident and high stress?). why do all of the people in my family who have hypothyroidism not have any of the symptoms i have?

  • i forgot to add i had symptoms of hypothyroidism at 11. that's where the 11 years without symptoms comes from.

  • If you are taking a synthetic thyroid like Synthroid than that will explain why your hypothyroidism eventually turned into fibromyalgia, it happens all the time. You must take 2 to 4 grain of Armour thyroid to recover from fibromyalgia or any autoimmune disease, and in my case I needed Hydrocortisone as well, due to my thyroid made me have adrenal fatigue as well. I have always had normal thyroid blood tests, Hypothyroisism is when your morning temp before rising out of bed is lower than 97.8F

  • I'm not taking Synthroid. I'm taking Armour Thyroid. I have for quite awhile. Moreover, everyone else in my family takes Synthroid and none of them have Fibromyalgia. They've also had hypothyroid for a longer time. Hypothyroid may cause random aches and pains, but it doesn't cause excruciating pain when someone simply lightly grabs your arm or if someone pokes you. Moreover, my average body temperature is 99.2-99.6, so I really doubt my basal temperature is under the average.

  • bharrod: Can you please explain to me what Armour thyroid is? I am very new to this & this is a huge learning exp. for me. Thanks.

  • I just viewed yout video and wow you sure don't know your onions! if you don't know what that means it's a old school saying which means you don't know what your talking about. Fibromyalgia is caused by a car accident or trauma. Do you know anybody that has fibromyalgia? It looks like your doing the research but on the wrong websites and you should explain what you said in lamens terms because it's difficult to understand what you are talking about.

  • What the fuck ? You are a fucking retard!

Fucking educate your self you worthless sub human .

Fibro Myalgia is unexplained Pain along with a bunch of other issues .

Fibro Myalgia is along with symptoms of Insomnia , Depression , Low blood sugar , Stress , Irritable Bowels , Head aches , Sensitivity to light ,Joint pain.

Yes a car accident causes irritable bowels for years along with sensitivity to light

Mother fucker go do 3 minutes of research you will find out you're retarded

  • wow really nice language there! Now listen to me YOU DON'T HAVE FIBROMYALGIA! YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT PEOPLE WITH FIBROMYALGIA GO THROUGH EVERYDAY!

And it's Fibromyalgia NOT Fibro Myalgia. You don't space it. Do you think what you said effects me? nope it does not it just makes you look like a idiot. Merry Christmas!

  • Fucking retard . How do you know i do not have fibromyalgia?

You just make foolish stupid assumptions .

I actually do have fibromyalgia .

You are defective human life form .

It is funny how you care about 1 simple mistake of having the two words .

Yet you are incapable of understanding the mechanics behind fibromylagia in the first place .

    Fucking OCD moron .

You are a low form of human existance . You are retarded and a sub human ape .

  • I have talked to many people with fibro myalgia .

Who have not gotten in a car accident .

Yet are having worse and worse symptoms . Hmm .

No car accident . Yet worsening symptoms.

Get the hell out of here retard .

  • I truly think that you have been mislead to believe that only 2 fricken things cause fibro! Oh, & if that's what you've been telling your "world", than it's people like you that help these unaware doctors "stay" in their place instead of furthering their research on this subject to help others as much as they can, & limit how they might help! I can't stand ignorant people! No wonder you call yourself "justgrumpy"! I rest my case!

  • Just to give you & the vid creator my symptoms & other issues that I've had for many years...for 1...my thyroid, blood sugars, prolactin, even cholesterol is perfect! I do have a vit d defficiancy, osteoarthritis (in my back & neck since 15 yrs old!), headaches, ibs, cfs, multiple sleep disorders, fibro fog, cog probs, gerd, only allergies to certain meds, et...oh, bty...Im only 36yrs old!

  • @JustGrumpy For one thing...I have had a very mild car accident in the past...MILD. I however had symptoms way before that. I've had pain & various related symptons since I was a teen, but my very intense hypersensitive pain came 4 years after my accident.

  • @JustGrumpy Yes, those CAN be factors, but there are so many..it's not JUST those 2 specific things. And you question whether or not he has fibro??? Even IF you do have fibro, & you have been told that those 2 things are the only causes, YOU obviously haven't done any research...which also tells me, that YOU probably don't since there is so many multiple factors that can play into causing fibro!

  • @JustGrumpy Wow....not to start shit, but why on earth you criticise someone talking about different aspects of fibro??? For one thing, your qoute "you sure don't know your onions" I agree is very accurate...only except I think you must be talking to yourself!!! OBVIOUSLY you're fricken oblivious, & dilusional! You think you're the almighty expert now? Giving insight is one thing, but to state specifically that fibro is caused by car accidents or trauma?!?!?!? WTF?

  • Ok, I think you don't know that much about hypothyroidism because if you did you would know that adrenal fatigue and fluctuating cortisol is very common in hypothyroidism. In addition if your friend with hyperthyroidism has hashi (autoimmune disorder) then it is much more complicated then what your assuming. I have hashi and hypothyroidism. and symptoms of Fibromy as well. There is a book and web site called "stop the thyroid madness" that has helped me understand.

  • I never debated that it is not a cause . I only debated that is not the only cause .

I understand it is likely one of the causes .

How ever just like heart disease where there are multiple causes ( Highblood pressure , high colestrol , high fats , dehydration )

There are defiantly multiple causes of fibro my

Just like anything medical issues .

  • Yes i know that the thyroid and adrenal cortex have alot in balance .

I know exessive cortisol can cause thyroid problems .

Not all adrenal fatigue has to be thyroid related .

I know people with fibro my who have normal thyroids .

I also know people with very slow thyroids who have no symptoms of fibro my

I know thyroid impacts countless parts of the body .

I think it is often stress induced . I know hypothyroidism keeps your stress tolerence down .

  • Fat fucking retard bastard!!! Don't talk about something you don't know. I don't think you are a doctor. Get a live!!!

  • How are you associated with these topics? Are you a dr? I have fibro and hypo and am searching for answers.....
