I like the Wrong Turn Series, but i think the main problem is that the killers look/act goofy...thus making it hard to take them/the movies seriously. If they were normal looking family of cannibals/killers...i think these movies would be 10 times better, cuz they all have decent gorey kills.

I actually think that it's quite realistic that there could be somekind of a psycho-mutant family living in the woods somewhere. Thousands of people just disappear without a single trace every year across the world, and in my opinion it's not that impossible to think that some of those people may have been killed by somekind of psycho-mutant family living in the woods or in the desert somewhere.
