sick! somebody please get this girl off that horse before he gets fed up and dumps her hard! give that horse his mouth! put your legs down and hold them still! put your arms down! stop slamming your butt into the saddle! you don't need to kick with your spurs! lean anymore in that turn and that horse is going to fall ontop of you! if you weren't so little he woudl have already done that! geeze please learn how to ride before you go barrel race!
@thejamiedonna This was several years ago and I will admitt that I had to learn to stay off his head but it is hardly all that you state. I won thousands of dollars on this horse and rode him for 8 years and have NEVER been dumped. Heartbroken, my best friend passed away (MIghty Mouse) several weeks ago from Peritonitis. Check me out on Britt Barrel Racing Wrapp'n Niki, you will see I have grown some and certainly my riding. I will let you know when I win High School Rodeo Nationals.
hes alot of horse for such a lil bit. she does fairly well with him. Just doesn't look like he really needs all the spurs that she was giving. he deffinatly didnt enjoy that part of the run. her hands are pretty much all over the place and bareback or stirrupless work would really help with her lower legs. but her flaws just stick out more because of it being slow mo, she looks alot better than alot of people ive seen
hey britt sweety you need to learn to let the reins loose let the horse run do not hold the reins back ok im a world champion barrel racer any questions just email me ok but great run hun keep up the good work
Thank you so much....some time has passed since then; please check out my video entitled Britt Barrel Racing Video. It has a bunch of my runs together. Especially look at the last run whcih is in slow motion and I would welcome to hear what you think. Thanks!
That's cool. He does have the perfect conformation to do barrels and he looks like he loves it too. Nice video and hope your daughter goes far with barrelr racing!
Thanks for the comments. She is 12 years old but pretty tiny about the size of an 8 year old. The horse is actually somewhat small but his physique is like a body builder and thus his name Mighty Mouse. Although, he loves running barrels he will do whatever Britt asks of him so believe it or not she is thoroughly controlling his every move. Britt has come a long way since this video and has really learned to stay off his head (pulling on the reins) and letting him do his thing.

You better tell that girl to quit yanking back on that horse's mouth - she's gonna get bucked off if she keeps that up.
