Oh and may I ask what kind of treatment must be done to the Amp Room , cause I see you've got some carpets and stuff hanging over on the head side 0.0
Thats cool, good tips. Regarding phase coherency and getting the same distance between mics; in math, parabolic shapes have a focus point where everything that reflects off of it passes through a specific point, no matter where it hits. Speakers are kind of parabolic in shape, so im wondering, is that the best spot to place a mic? is there a sweet spot?
@tkarmakid It all depends on style really, and the sound you want. There isn't really a single sweet spot on a speaker, there are stock standard spots (e.g. halfway between center and edge of speaker) to start out at and then experiment with moving the mix towards center, away from center, straight on and on different angles all produce different sounds. Generally the more towards the center the brighter the sounds, towards the edge = the warmer. Again, it's all back to style.
Hey Man I am recording my solo Cd.I really appreciate the tips. I went to school with don Miegal,That he changed to miggs...And been asking him for some of his contacts. But don seems to be too busy with his new CD so i'm going right to the source.Give me a call,I like to use you for my Next recording....My Names Joe Freyre....ask Don about me....peace

No isolation between the four amps to prevent bleed?

Awesome, man. That's the way. I would love to see your acoustic guitar mic-up technique...I find that to be the tricky one.
