  • niiiice!! just to be sure, this kit doesn't break right?

  • Awesome drummin!

  • try plugging it into the comp and using a program to record it.... this way you get perfect audio and you can use the pads as just triggers and control the sound manualy

  • hows the feel on the paddle if compare to an acoustic set... really curious to know!!!

  • @rentap2284 It's different. But your movement with the foot remains the same!

  • so you are a lefty? i was thinking of this kit, but was unsure about it being set as a lefty. It works fine then?

  • @Finito866 I'm planning getting these drums, are they good for recording and playing ? Or do you think i should get Yamaha DTXplorer? :)

  • electric drum kits sucks... and so your drumming...

  • @korny1992 I guess that's why you're making drum videos...

  • @JPPraterCO08 sorry dude... well... im not making drum videos cause my cymbals are cracked... and im trying to get good mic to start doing drum videos... when i have more cymbals and more mics... ill be doing drum videos... but keep it up with the drumming... it is the best work in the earth... good luck!!

  • @korny1992

    Put up or STFU! Moron...

  • yo, can we plug it into speakers to make it louder? also how much was it?

  • he is lip syncing

  • @K4n31992 Yup :)

  • im thinking of getting one of this set too, my question is "are left and right paddles identical?"

    nice vid btw

  • @EnesErgul They are, thanks :)

  • does it need any speakers or something?

  • @ScooBunnyDrummer You can plug it into your receiver or play with headphones

  • The pedals from 0:23-0:24 . You didn´t moved your foot so much? Not so good for a roland kit

  • Nice job. I'm left handed too and just about to get the HD-1. Did you need anything else to convert the kit like extension cables etc?

  • @guitarman2uk Well if u wanna play on your stereoset you will need some sound cables. Else just play with headphones :)

  • @Finito866 Cheers for that, but I was referring to the drum cables. Someone told me I would need extension to get the drum cables to reach to the brain - is that not the case?

  • @guitarman2uk Well.. no. All that u need should come with the package.

  • cool I am thinking of getting me this I am a guitar player but I think it would be cool to drum around every now and then, Nice video

  • cool

  • You´re left handed arent you? Is it hard to change the position of the snare and the shocks?

  • @renmjb Nope. just take a screwdriver and you'll be fine.

  • when i see this vid i dont wanna buy the hd1 anymore..

  • i would work stop doing heel down and try heel up. it is kinda weird after ur used to heel down but try to work on it if you want you get more power.

  • wheres your amp ?

  • in the middle of the drumkit

  • Yup hes right

  • so the speakers are built in to the kit?

  • no you have to buy the pack to get the speakers

  • its in the middle of his legs, that small silver thing. it does not come with the roland hd-1, its sold separetly

  • i'm getting this for my birthday!!! cant wait ( october ) BTW does it come with songs on it that you can play to

  • Nice to hear :)

It does not come with songs, only drum examples. But you can attach your mp3 player to the drumkit so no problem!

  • ok thanks =D

  • no but you can hook up your ipod

  • @dirt0jumping or mp3

  • @sokkeskum it doesnt come with songs but it comes with 10 different drum sounds that are fairly realistic btw i think he plugged a ipod in

  • At a store that doesnt sell drums anymore. hence why i got it that cheap ') Discount price...

  • does this kit have a double bass setting?

  • Yes. when you switch the highhat button it becomes a double bass pedal :)

  • That was cool. I want one of these so bad.

  • same here hehe, cant afford one yet... yeah yeah its v cheap n all but, sucks that i cant have one soon :(

  • nice job ese...nice job.

Btw, 3 months and I could do this.. Didn't even do it right at all. Maybe like, 30 secs total right. But rest, ehhhh. yeah..

  • Why reply if you don't care? Oh btw, show me your drumvideo's :) Wait.. you don't have any..

  • Lol, when we start recording our album hopefully in this summer, I'll show u em.

Oh btw, if your bad, and can't cover and easy song, don't record it and show it. Your just going to prove your bad. :)

  • Nice :) Im looking forward to see them!

  • oOoshadowzoneoOo is stupid

  • Good luck. ^^

  • good drumming

i am going to buy this e drum at monday :)

  • Hi. I'm going to by my first drumset and I wondered about get a HD-1. Do you recomend it? And is it very loud when you hit the pads? My house is not very soundproof :P

  • Hi :D

Well i recommend u use headphones and dont press the basspedals to hard then :) Rest should be fine ...

  • Thx mate :D

    Nice drumming :D

  • you play for a year and a half??? you sure? you were supposed to play a lot better than you are now with a year and a half of instrument....

  • On this video i play the drums for 4 months, without anyone to teach me.

  • OOOOO ok then! Now things have changed lol... you´ve done a good job! Have any recent videos?

  • :) Click on my username to vieuw some more recent video's.

  • i can t hear your BASS man why xD

  • Listen carefully ^^

And if you can't hear it.. im afraid it's you :(

  • hehe i got a lots of question, :)

is sit your first normal (big) drum? (Set)

how long are you paly on drum?

your think the electric drum kit or the acoustic normal drum kit is the good?

  • Hi :)

This is my first drumset ever.

I play the drums for 1,5yr now, and on that video for 4 months.

I think acoustic is better, but digital is better if u dont want to bother your neighboors ^^

  • thx ;)

  • today it´s hard to say which one is better. Try to watch some roland td-20 videos and see for yourself. Electric drums are getting pretty near the acoustics.... allthough none of them substitutes the other. I like them both.

  • how much you spend on it?

  • 600 euro's, probally 500 now.

  • sounds cruel xD

  • Cheers!

  • lewa reka hihat, lewa noga stopa gz xD

ja sie staram ale kor** nie wychodzi hehhehehhh ^^

  • lol wut?

  • hay dad

  • sei una pippa

  • What type of file does this export to a computer as? a .wav or is it a midi only output?

  • In this movie i got it recorded with a digital camera only, and on the computer it's a WMV. file. Recently i started to record digitally and i can choose between mp3, wav etc..

  • can anyone tell me if you can use a double kick of this?

  • If u mean double bass, yes.

  • how does that work?

obviously you can only have the two pedals, high hat and bass pedals and seeing as there not seperate as such..

    Can you fill me in?

  • you just switch a button on the Roland control panel :)

  • i guess you then loose high hat control?

  • exactly :)

  • Yes, there's a drum kit with dual bass

  • Sure. Now show me your vids. Oh wait.. you don't have any..

  • haha good comeback

    nice vid

i was hoping to get a new elec kit, but i didnt fancy it becuase of its size, unless its another kit that i'm thinkin of!

how much did u buy it for?

  • hehe

A year ago i payed like 600 euro's for it together with the sound monitor. Think it's like 500 now.

  • lol playing a heavy song on a little drum kit good though

  • yea true though the sound is pretty decent for such a small kit :p thanks :)

  • lol left handed drumer, long time no see!^^ cool drumming

  • Hehe yea were one of a kind :P

    Thanks :)

  • Hi, noticed your left handed, when you set it up for left hand, can you swap the Hi-Hat pedal to the same side? Thanks.

    (Fellow lefty)

  • Hi lefty bro!

Yea sure u can just switch the plugs lol :)

    Good luck

  • Sweet! I figured as much!

You enjoying the kit? I'm torn between the HD-1 and the TD3 (with the TD3 being nearly twice as expensive!) What are your impressions of the HD-1 so far?

  • In the beginning it totally amazed me and i was really stunned by its capacity, which is pretty obvious if you never drummed anything before ^^. But now a year has passed and i get experience, i want more, and gotta have a bigger kit with more expansions... So yes very good for beginners, but a NO for experienced players i guess.

  • do u by any chance know if i could connect this to like my ps3 and play rockband or guitar hero world tour with it? i wanna try cuz it looks more realistic that four pads...

also can u position the pads and cymbals? oh and nice job

  • Hi :)

I don't own a PS3 myself, so i don't have a clue, sorry. And if it's possible.. hell that would be cool! ;). And yes you can reposition the cymbals and pads. I did it because I am left handed. Thanks and good luck

  • I don't know if this helps, but if your module has a Midi output/input I'm sure something's always possible

  • u cant hook it up to a ps3 bcs u need the colorong for the pad and the drum system is way unreal in rok band and gh wtour

  • keep the Study's ^^...hehehehehehe^^

  • ok :p

  • is that the roland drum mat.. if so, is it really worth getting??

  • No it's not :p

It's a simple rubber mat, keeps the kit in place ;) Cheap!

  • Great video, I'm considering getting a HD-1 kit to learn on.

  • Thanks man.

In my oppinion it's excellent for learners that need a basic and solid set :)

  • Do you find the pedals restricting at all? I'm not sure that I'd want them stuck in one place.

  • In the beginning it bothered me. But i got used to it pretty fast.. No big obstacle.

  • might try setting up for left handed, midi is for connecting to other synths or a computer, I've got mine hooked to a Roland fantom and battery 3, great vid and nice playing

  • cheers!

  • How loud is the PM01 Drum monitor dude? I have the Kit, just not the amp.

  • It's pretty loud and decent, when you look at the price/quality. You just have to make sure the kit is not in a too big room. But personally I prefer a headphone while playing..

  • Did you have problems setting the drum kit up left-handed?

  • Nope. All you need is a small screwdriver :>

  • phew! I'm gonna buy it and finally someone who knows if u can change the position of the drums. Thanks! 5 stars.

  • does david play with a double bass? because it sounds like it in some songs..

  • Im not sure, im not exactly a Korn expert. But as far as i can hear it, he uses it very rarely and most of the times sticks with 1 basspedal.

  • Hey man, great job. I have this set! and i love how you can hook up your music to it! Genious.

  • hey nice cover dude.

im thinking of gettin the HD1, but does the bass pedal actually feel like a real one? and isnt the pedal a bit out of position?

  • Hey! cheers!

At first i was suprised by these kind of pedals, since -ofcourse- they are not like acoustic ones. But in the end you'll get used to it very fast, and the movement you make is gonna be the same as real ones. So no problem really :)

    Good luck

  • do room-neighbours sometimes complain about the noise that comes from the sticks hitting the pads? Cause I'm gonna move into a small apartmant soon, and i wanna buy that thing for practice.

thanks in advance, and nice cover also :)

  • Thanks!

The only time they heard something was because i was using the double bass function, and that sound went trough the floor (pushing the pedals). But that was the only time they noticed it, not really complaining. So yea i think its safe to use :p

  • if you would play with headphones, would you hear sound of plastic,or how loud is kit?you know what i mean :D

  • With Headphones you won't hear the sound of plastic, without it, you will hear it kinda, like on the vid. :)

  • I hate that i need a simmions amp iam getting one for my b-day.. plus love your drum vids bro

  • Thanks mate, appriciated :)

    You can't wait for your b'day i presume ^^

  • is there a wire you can buy to connect it to an amp?? thanks

  • I got the wire included when i bought the Roland amp :)

  • does it plug into the 'output' socket or...?

and do you know what the MIDI socket is for?

    thanks

  • Yea the amp plugs in the output channel.

Not sure what the MIDI socket is for, never used it to be honest...

  • hehe ok

Show me how it's done and we'll talk :)

  • how much did u get it bro

  • Hi there :)

Hmm I payed 650 Euros total for the set, and the speakerset.

    Hope that satisfies your question!

  • havnt seen a lefty in a while, good job

  • Sweet Drumming I might be getting the HD-1 next week but yeah awesome job

  • Yeah you really should!

    Cheers!

  • Excellent!

  • Thanks mate! appriciated =D

  • Nice playing............, i have the roland hd1 myself and i love it!

  • Yeah it's awesome =D Thanks!

  • Nicely played! Thinking of getting the HD1s, would you recommend them for a beginner?

    Cheers man!

  • Hi there! First of all: Thanks! =D

And YES i Would recommend them for anyone!

I started playing in December, had no lessons but I really like the kit. It does not take up a lot of space, it's affordable, it's just a complete and solid set. Very good for beginners! Good luck, cheers!

  • Hey! One of my fav songs! I think the drumming was good! Don't know much about instruments, though, wish I did. My friend Peter Plays the drums, too! But his are not electric. Yours are electric right???

    "I can't always say:

    It's gonna be better tomorrow!"

  • Thanks for your reply =)

Yeah it's a great song, one of their best :)

Yes your right, this is an electric digital drumkit by Roland. Sometimes it bothers me that you can hear the hitting on the rubber parts, but on the other hand it's a great set! Cheers!

  • Sweet m8, i liek this song u drummed it good ^^

  • Thank you very much! :)

  • Hoi Finito866! Gaaf gedrumd.

Groeten Finito
