I stopped smoking and noticed people in public don't talk to me as much. If you walk up the street other smokers might talk to you because theres common ground, and it shows that if you have a pack of cigarettes you probably have a job and support your habit thus you might have something they can use you for. walk up the street with out drinking, smoking or flaunting any kind of value and see how many people talk to you without trying to sell something. They won't.

@youtoobboob Your obviously still not awakened to the message of this song. Walk up any street and see how many people talk to you if you don't smoke a cigarette, weed or drink. Now do the same thing and smoke a cigarette, joint or have a drink. People will see you have something, and if you have something you can afford to buy things so they might be able to use you for something. This is only one of the social masks this song is about.

I notice noone talks to me in public since i stopped smoking. it's easier for other smokers to associate with you when you smoke because you have a common ground of addiction, same with alcohol or any other drug. Not because it's cool to do those things but it shows other people you can support your own habit and you might have something they can you for. People don't talk to me much since i quit smoking. Try to walk up the street without flaunting your value and see how many people say hi.
