He was not enough efficient (156 goals for 800 matches is a very poor ratio for a number 10), I would palce Zico, Puskas, Di Stefano, Platino, Garincha Ronaldo, Romario and Eusebio before him.

How come so many Europeans among the top 30? Everyone knows that although skills are distributed more or less evenly among nations, only South Americans are football geniouses.
Those footballers that really have that "something else" beyond just being very good... surely never born in Europe.

I don't like making lists because it's very difficult to compare different kind of players. Was Beckenbauer better than Laudrup, was Laudrup better than Platini, was Platini better than Maradona and was Maradona better than Pele? It's impossible ot do those comparisons, specially when you consider the different kinds of football that was played in each of those players time. I'd much rather make a 23-man imaginary team to a world cup :)

Yachine, Breitner, Baresi, Roberto Carlos, Rijkaard, Kempes, Madjer and Milla are missing in the list. Zidane is too high ranked. He was not enough efficient (156 goals for 800 matches is a very poor ratio for a number 10), I would palce Zico, Puskas, Di Stefano, Platino, Garincha Ronaldo, Romario and Eusebio before him.

Those footballers that really have that "something else" beyond just being very good... surely never born in Europe.

This was a good compilation than most ive seen a lot more footage and variety. That ball that Johnstone was kicking wasn't one of these new sissy lightweight balls try curling one of those monsters that man was a genius. Although I do like Zico and George Best in a modern setting.
