@ WorkingToBeatHell This is what my spirit says, I consider it as a warning from God because the time is ending. I believe the prophesy of others because their explanations are biblical, I study my own Bible and I believe I have the deep relationship with Christ because I see evidence of change and deep love for Him, I feel secured and I can feel His presence, and many prayers were answered. I realized the church cannot save, we need to seek the Lord with all our hearts.
I was a Catholic but I came out from that Church for many reasons and for the Lord's sake. He called me out from that church because of the truth He showed to me. I respect Catholic beliefs and teachings but I just have to follow only the Lord and not on human rules and teachings that are contradict to Him. My relationship with Him is more important than with people. I'll live for God and not for the world
@mquia92 He did not call you out out of the Catholic Church, as He does not call ANYONE away from Himself, His Body and the Truth, all of which are equated with the Catholic Church. The fullest relationship and most authentic relationship you can have with Christ is in the Catholic Church. True, there are people in the Church who are sinful, and can discourage us, but this does not change the reality of the Church, it does not remove the fullness of Truth from the Church.
@WorkingToBeatHell What about people who live in parts of the world where there is no "Catholic Church" in sight?Or people who have never even heard of the bible or Jesus? What about those children on their knees searching for insects as their only meal?(u can see pics online) .What about Hindus,Muslims, Jews, the other 34,999 other Christian denominations? So the entire world needs to be Catholic to get the "fullest and most authentic relationship with Christ"? Please post this and explain.
Yes. Muslims, and those who have never heard of Christ cannot have have the fullest possible relationship with Him. It's quite simple. A person without access to education can not have the fullness of scientific knowledge; a person who has no electricity cannot have the full experience of a light bulb, and a person who has only elements of Truth does not have the fullness of Truth, which is found only in the Catholic Church. Christ is the Fullness of Truth, found in the Catholic Church.
I want to love both. Maybe I love my religion but there's something I hate on it. But my love for Yeshua will never be equal to that religion. I will only follow Him if something is wrong in my religion
@mquia92 The problem I see, and that I am trying to point to in my video is that separating Jesus and religion is a false dichotomy. They are a unity, not two separate packages.
Well then what's the point of being Catholic if u don't need to be Catholic in order to go to heaven? Have I been misled my entire life??? :'( if that's the case then I might as well stop being Catholic!
@Officialbiz13 The point is that you are living in accord with the Fullness of Truth. Furthermore, if you know the the Catholic Church to be the fullness of truth (which it is) and you openly reject it (i.e. decide not to be Catholic) then you jeopardize your salvation, as there is no salvation for those who knowingly separate themselves from the Truth. But if someone does not know the Catholic Church to be the fullness of truth, this does not mean they cannot be saved.
In other words, our faith is not utilitarian - that is we don't enter a relationship with God to "use" God for our agenda. Rather we should enter a relationship with God because we love God, and want to have a relationship with Him that is authentic and true. The fulness of Truth is found in the Catholic Church, so that is our reason for being Catholic.
1 billion people are christian. Which means 6 billion are not. So 6 billion people are going to hell? I can't believe that. I can't believe that god would forsake all people who do not identify with this particular religion or what it teaches for whatever reason. I see good, warm, loving people everywhere that give to their fellow man. That have good hearts and minds and live their lives with love. I can't beleve all those souls would be damned...
@Spiderweb127 Please note that in my video I never said anyone was going to hell. In fact the Catholic Church does not claim that a person who is not Catholic in this life is going to hell. That is a common misconception. We do say that everyone who goes to heaven does so through the power of Christ, even if they did not believe in Him during their life on earth. Furthermore, we say that by being in Heaven a person is in communion with the Christ, and his Body on Earth, the Church.
@Spiderweb127 People aren't punished for the good things they've done. They're punished for the evil things they've done. There's no such thing as a "good person" because everyone has done evil, and does so continually.
People don't go to hell for not believing in God. They go to hell because they ARE SINNERS. They hate God, and would RATHER go to hell than worship Him. There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, "have your way," and those to whom He says, "have your way"
@dougmoerhoffman A little harsher than I would state it, but true. Hell is a state of being separated from God. It is something we choose (through our decision to disobey God) and not something God inflicts upon us. When we sin, we choose to separate ourself from God to some degree (pending on the sin). Hell is the state where we insist on remaining separated from God rather than being united to Him by following His commands (all of them, not just the ones we like).
Christianity is a personal relationship between you and God not a religion. What you have to do to be saved is repent and trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin. I have a problem when religion goes against Scripture. Nowhere in scripture is purgatory mentioned, or saying x amount of our Fathers or hail marys because i committed a certain sin, or worshiping anything other than God. Kissing the ring or observing the seal that is wrong.
@paulcentral1985 No where in Scripture does it say these 27 books constitute the New Testament either. Scripture is one of the fruits of the religion. Jesus did not leave us with a Bible, He left us with a Church.

@WorkingToBeatHell I'm serious. Amazing knowledge. You are great priest and please continue your work. Like Pope Benedict XVI said, about J10 initiative, to start use technology to evangelize - and you are doing it great. Awesome awesome awesome work!
all i have to say is Jesus is the son,not the father,"created" in his fathers image,do all Christians believe in the Trinity?...when Jesus on earth talked to his Father in heaven, would such a man talk to himself? I think not
@rustkeeper Yes, all Christians believe in the Trinity. Unfortunately it cannot be explained, yet alone in a YouTube comment. We believe there is 1 God, who is 3 Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Yet the Father is not the Son is not the Holy Spirit, but all 3 are fully God. Confused yet? I don't blame you. Your questions has boggled the mind of many. A starting point is the John 1 (the Word was with God & The Word was God & the Word became Flesh). Also Jesus says the Father and I are one.
@WorkingToBeatHell Trinity just don't work for me(made up by Catholics ,no disrespect) ,my father and i are one in a lot of things yet i am not he. thanks for response
@rustkeeper Nor is the Father the Son. But they are both the one true God. Thank you for the respectful dialogue. Sadly many people who disagree just want to name-call rather than articulate a position. While we don't agree, I am thankful that this conversation has been respectful.
@JyonasanVolkov That's a mistranslation. The opposite of peace is not "evil," but calamity. The difference is paramount.
Would you rather believe in a god who can't do anything about evil because he has no control over it? He'd have plausible deniability, but it wouldn't be a god you could trust to save you from anything. I'd rather worship the Sovereign God. Jesus Christ.
@530jayson Christianity is a Way of Life. The early Christians were known as followers of the Way. Religion is one's binding worldview (from the latin religare meaning "to bind"). As a Way of Life, Christianity is by definition a religion. And if you believe that Jesus is God, then you must believe that this Way of Life Jesus left us is from God and not man, therefore making Christianity a religion.

One True Faith is the catholic faith the church that Jesus himself began
@dorobu85 - Well, for one we would not have a Bible without Ss. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, Paul, James, John The Divine, etc.
The Bible did not simply fall out of the sky. Melito of Sardis attempted to compile a list of what was and was not the inspired word of God. However, it was not until Pope Damasus issued a decree in the 4th century (affirmed by the Councils of Hippo and Carthage) that the list of books which constitute the Bible (canon) was determined.
Father Brian, I have some New Age & UU & Wiccan friends who have said that the word "religion" is the very reason they have supposedly turned away from "religion." One woman told me she did not think that putting binds on a person's soul is healthy at all, that the soul should be totally free and unencumbered and religion bogs the soul down. How on earth to respond to a person who really believes this nonsense? (Some of these folk are ex-Catholics. I'm Methodist, myself.)
@ladylejean215 - Always respond with charity while speaking the truth. Sadly, our society seems to be losing the art of engaging an intellectual argument (an argument is not a fight, but a proposition). Here it seems there is a misunderstanding of the word religion. We certainly agree with your friends that we don't want put binds on a person's soul. But we want to bind our souls to what is Good and what is True, namely God. That is what our religion does, it binds us to the Way that is Christ.
@ladylejean215 As nonsensical as Wicca and New Age stuff is at least they are free of a big piece of ludicrous nonsense, Hell. Witches will not go to Hell for the same reason I will never go to Hoth or Middle Earth, it's fictional and is an overly simplistic binary concept.
@jaymthegenius Actually we must posit Hell exists if we posit that we have free will. A denial of Hell is a denial of free will. Far from being fiction, Hell is a reality. Think of it this way - Hell is the state of being totally removed from the presence of God.If indeed we have free will, then we can totally and completely reject God (i.e. go to Hell). If there is no Hell, then we are not free to reject God, in which case we have neither freedom to sin nor culpability for our actions.

@gcorderodiaz - Catholic Answers website has a great article (search for why catholics have statues on their site, I can't link it here)
The article shows that God also commands heavenly images to be made in Exodus 25:18 "Make two cherubim of beaten gold for the two ends of the cover." Point being that interpretation is important, which is why it is important to have an authority to interpret scripture, namely the teaching office given to St. Peter and currently held by Pope Benedict XVI.
Nice video, The church is not a building. The church is the people if you reading your bible. Please read your bible and teach people about jesus not about your saints, mary or calvary. Be born again like jesus said. I will pray for you. Jesus loves you.
@dorobu85 Thank you for the compliment. Since, as you said the Church is no a building, but a people, it is necessary to teach both the Bible as well as the history.
