Excellent review on the Torch 9860's usage and display capabilities. Couple of doubts:

1. Is there a suretype keyboard option or just the qwerty layout?

2. On board memory capacity.

Otherwise, and considering all, I think I just found my new phone.

I totally love your review but I remember the BlackBerry Torch 9860 has a slide keyboard right? You should show us that keyboard and the sliding function as well. However, I like this.

I think the strength of rim is on their keyboard, if they remove the keyboard from their device, it wouldnt just destroy the phone, it would also hard for this phone to compete against android and iphone which are full touch screen

Prefer the old torch...hate new curve, new bold is okay tho...think I'll be getting Iphone soon. 3 Blackberrys in less than a year is stupid. Really wish blackberrys lasted :/

FINALLY!!!!.....i live in a country engulfed by blackberry among other smartphones mostly blackberry. The playbook is alright and I have used many of the bb models but ALL and yes i said ALL of them except this one should be cancelled..yes they have been successful over the years but they are otterly stupid and lacked the features of this phone.

I have the first Torch. All it it seems to do is crash or run slow. Apart from BBM, i see no reason to get another Blackberry. Stuck in contract at the moment but as soon as i can, im changing

And also, how is this phone a fail? its a perfect phone for someone who likes media and people who like touch screens, overall its just as good as the bold 9900 just with out the qwerty keypad, but the bigger higher res screen makes up for that.
