  • On Chief Operator, I disagree that he bears watching, as he beat a weak field even for his level ( at that time ) and received what I thought was an extremely advantageous trip/set-up.

    We shall see.

Thanks to everyone for watching and I appreciate any comments.

  • watch the 5th race 0n 1/8/09.the winner chief operator was way back made up tons of ground on the rail split horses and won with energy. the class drop helped him and feel he will continue his winning ways even witha slight class up.

  • Andy, was NO BLOVIATING the horse that you were not able to include in this segment because of timing? For the information of others, NO BLOVIATING won on 1/14/09 ($7.20).

  • Sorry to see there were such slim pickings in the "Trips & Traps" department that only one segment was necessary this week and that the races in that segment were not that fascinating or conclusive. I guess you have to take them as they come. Patience in horseplaying, as in life, is a virtue. I hope NYRA keeps producing these segments and I hope Andy Serling stays in NY year-round so we get to take advantage of his wisdom on the raceday show.
