That was legendary. It's a bird dropping spider (Celaenia excavata) I don't think the spider was sick though, they often play possum.

it's a rare chuckusnorrisalius spider: a silly bird that wasn't concentrating ate the spider, the spider crawled through the intestinal tract of the bird, biting it as it went, and eventually passed through the bird's lower intestine and out through its anus - hence the reason the bird was covered in bird shit.
