oh i get it, so the story will keep repeating its self? i dont know what the intended meaning was, but i felt like the well symbolises determination and hope while the darkness was all those things and problems that drag us back. the boy had just climbed up the well and was observing everything, but was then enclosed in darkness again. even though everything was dark, he gazed up at the new opening, and im assuming hes going to try climbing back up... aww, thats sad :(

Very good timing and music and the story is very good it reminds me of the old story called "The Allagory of the Cave" I think it was by HOMER not sure though dont quote me on that :-)

I understand this is supposed to be metaphorical, but I don't get what those things mean. The leaves, the footsteps, the trashcan...

Well what I get out of it is being stuck in situations that you don't want to be in and just when you think you're out you find yourself back at sqare one. This film is a remarkable portrayal of a feeling that everyone has known at one time or another.
