El Paso's TX Forest Service urban forester passed it on to our Facebook page...this is great. Looking to see if you sing about other trees and plants!
Oh, yeah... you tell the story. We like our shade, but live in fear of the giant limb over the (cracked) driveway. And how about the (sometimes multiple) leaf and seed-dropping? These trees are nothing if not prolific.
Thanks for listening and commenting Scowell - we tried to compost some of those seeds and the darned things stayed intact for a couple of years! But the shade is great.... hope they can make it through this horrible summer.

(Sorry about the late reply- it took me a year to realize I had the ability to reply directly.)
Thanks for commenting, StewedTomato - if you're in the desert it might do well...you guys get cool at night I think. The hot, humid nights in Central Texas stress the trees badly here.

I just bought one last week, we wanted a fast growing shade tree in the middle of our desert.
