I had a similar experience with my martial arts training. my trainer had me push out over 1000 pushups. every time I collapsed I would scream out 5 more, collapse for another few seconds then go again.

It is pretty amazing just how determined the mind can be... mental strenght is the most important aspect to not just sports or exsersise but to life in general.

Good luck to you all in your training... and remeber a warrior never quits, just goes home for dinner.
