  • The ice VOLUME is melting! So much so that Doug Titley, the chief oceanographer for the US Navy is working with University of BC and the Royal Navy on charting the new waters. Ice area always advances in the winter....cuz it's cold! But the decrease in volume is alarming for 2 reasons: First it shows that something is happening, and secondly, Russian subs are now (and have been), able to punch thru that thin ice...claiming sovereign rights under the circle.

  • I love this guy, he's the greatest. But what I don't understand, is if the temperature really is cooling, then why is so much ice melting?

  • answer: selective consideration. The same thing he's trying to fight.

  • @bnther36 The ice is NOT melting any more than usual.

  • @bnther36

The Earth is a massive system. There is a certain delay before a change of one parameter affects another. You know: time is the parameter preventing everything from happening at once...

  • The apathy amongst the people we share our lives with is entirely understandable. They hear that politicians are corrupt & crooked. Now they hear that scientists are corrupt & crooked.

Those amongst them that are wise know that the natural world contains all the signs we need to see what the future climate will be.

What the apathetic do not realise, is that this scam, along with others, is designed to convince them that they must die (population control & eugenics).

  • How sad so few hear this viewpoint.

  • The problem is this:

Those who support (or believe in) global warming do so because of this logical premise: "If I convince people that global warming is caused by humans, then humans will clean up their act and stop polluting the earth indiscriminantly". Sadly, this logic is fallicious, because anyone who stands to benefit from polluting the earth won't stop due to a logical reason.

  • @leafwatch You mean the viewpoint of a man who has done more for environmentalism, science and to bring the future of man to light than most men who have ever walked the earth?

    Sad indeed...
