You usually use the keyboard for everything exept aiming and firing. It is the subtlety and smoothness of using the mouse for aiming as opposed to an analogue stick that sets pc fps gaming above consoles.

You don't have ProMod on console (the competitive modification to the game, as seen in this vid), so consoles are OUT OF THE PICTURE for competitive play. Besides, mouse and keyboard are waaay more precise and adaptable than shitty dick-sticks.

Really? I've played both pc and Xbox 360 versions and the pc version is much easier. A mouse makes it 10 times easier to snipe and aim in general. Much more experienced players on the 360.

You're right, both systems have different players with different playing styles, so I wouldn't say that anyone on any system is better then their counterpart. It's just from my personal experience that I think Pc is easier then 360, might not be the same for everyone though.

i play pc and console. honestly fps on pc are much easier and it feels more natural playing than on console. i used to play Counter Strike Source for about 4 years and now i play mw2 on 360 and im good at both lol. personally i like pc FPS but all my friends play on 360 so...... i have no choice....

I agree. With a mouse you can twitch as fast as necessary to line up your shot unless you run out of mouse pad or arm lol. With a thumbstick the speed is dependent on your sensitivity and too high a sensitivity can make your aim too shaky, but you also risk not being able to aim fast enough. For this reason I have all but abandoned consoles short of playing with my friends.
